American college sports fans never cease to amaze me in how low they can go. I mean, really, these are your smart people? How dumb are your non-university folks? Or do you have some strange bizzaro-thing going on?

/Also, Your beer, for the most part, is far too weak.

A. This guy was probably some local wacko not a ND student.
B. We don't stab people at futbol games.

Non-relevant to thread, other than the sucker punch part.

Sucker punching Clausen was a douchebag thing to do, but Clausen was a douchebag for not waiting till the end of the season to announce his intentions for next year, and no, I don't want to hear any crap about him avoiding injury...they're playing him anyway. Way to demoralize the team...I'll bet a few of them may have wanted to punch him, too. In fact...maybe the guy was paid to do it, hahahahaha!

First off, what do you consider American beer? Sam Adams has a good line of imperials that are over 9%. Dogfish Head has many at 7% and above and there are a great number of other breweries that make excellent strong ales and lagers. Oh yeah, and to quote the movies Canadian Bacon, "Canadian beer sucks!"

Also, sounds like this kid hits harder than the ND defense. Maybe he should try out for the team.

The beauty of this though was it wasn't an opposing fan, it was a Notre Dame fan, or so the story goes. He punched Clausen because he was mad about Clausen's performance, which in turn implies he was pulling for Notre Dame during the game. So despite all this crap about "Hey Loyal Sons" and all that, they turn on their own.

Were he a soccer player they'd be finding him in ditches over the course of the next several days.

Why are so mant college and pro athletes primadonnas these days?

Because they believe that there will be no consequences for their behavior, and that's our own fault.

Ah yes, they turn on their own. One moron clearly represents all Notre Dame fans. If you go down a few threads you can find evidence that all Steeler fans kick dogs to death. Or else you could just get a farking clue.

Ahh, yes, you hit my "for the most part" right on the head. There is wonderful American beer. There is also Bud Light at 3% alcohol, which just seems pointless to me. I do enjoy their ads, and I have had a few buds (ballparks, mainly), but they still suck.

The line in Canadian Bacon is actually by Canadians. It's a joke about how we're beer snobs in Canada, but it's not actually saying that our beer sucks. It's sneaky, clever and self-depricating: pure Canadiana.

Also, what the hell's with your college basketball fans? I heard that Duke students found Kevin Love's phone number and threatened to kill him and his family. Man, I'm a Flames fan but I would never have called up Wayner and told him I was coming after Walter.

VictoryCabal [TotalFark] 2009-11-24 10:13:22 AM
Jimmy Clausen seems like a huge douche who should probably be punched on general principle, but I don't see why you'd hit him if you're pissed about ND's season. He's played pretty well this year.

Now if someone were to punch Cheeseburger Charlie or some of the guys on defense, it would seem a tad bit more appropriate.

I'll just answer several farkers all at once: he announced two weeks ago that he's headed for the draft instead of his senior year. I suppose he may have thought that Charlie would stop playing him, thereby keeping him from possible injury, but THAT'S not gonna' happen. Anyway, what was he going to do with a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology?
