Oh, they have Caturday in Croatia. Caturday is the day that, traditionally, feline production concerns make their deliveries of live cats to the open-air markets. It is on Caturday that households send their eldest sons to pick up the weekly bundle of cats, which are then burned for heat.

Just think, if that happened in New York or Philly that ref would have been pelted with batteries and needed security to walk him to his car.

22 competing men running full speed all around the field, with little/no regard for anything other than 1 soccer ball is not a nurturing environment for a cat.

Should've removed the cat while only using his feet.

He was a goalie, he's allowed to use his hands.

please this is soccer, any cat within 10' of a player would cause the player to fall to the grass grabbing his knee.

Guess that cat makes 23 pussies on the field.

Thank goodness for that pic of what a yellow card might look like.

It was cool of the home crowd to cheer vigorously for the goalie thereafter.

If you can actually leave the field of play for an extensive period of time while your sport is going on, and you come back and there has been no noticeable advantage played by the opposing team as a result of your absence, there's probably something ridiculously wrong with your sport.

So there's something ridiculously wrong with hockey, car racing and American football?

You can't leave the field in soccer and then come back in, unless you're hurt, and then you're only allowed back in when the referee allows you in.

Eh, the goalie's like a seatbelt - you don't always need him, but when you do, you're really glad he's there.

They have immediate substitution, and in auto racing it's a component of the race that affects all drivers.
