I was thinking about buying the collection of Diana Ross albums, but then I realized that music companies would just make more of them.

And that is the real danger facing America today.

Who sold Fedora? Isn't it free and open source?

as long as he's dead i won't complain about the details or the aftermath.

i'm just glad he's finally dead.

Banal trivialities. So are we pretending that we aren't currently involved in two wars or do we just not care because a "Liberal" is President?

the real question is: did he wear the glove while he diddled McCauley Culkin and all the other boys?

Yet I can't find a Breyer Horse collector interested in taking most of my collection off my hands for a reasonable amount.

Honestly this sort of thing makes me lose faith in humanity. What would you do with said glove anyway? Shadowbox it and hang it up in your house?

/had an orthodontist who would do just that, only in his office

Christian Bale 2009-11-22 04:45:40 PM
When I saw the estimates of 40-60K for the glove, I thought that's ridiculous, it could go for 10x that amount. Either they were lowballing the estimate just in case, or they were clueless.

It may sounds stupid, and I wouldn't pay $10 for it if not allowed to resell it, but it's clear that MJ's glove is one of the most iconic items in entertainment history and 50K was a low price. Even 350K will be a good investment.

mishmashmusic 2009-11-22 05:07:43 PM
Bah, you can pick up a glove, a hat, and a complete Diana Ross collection at just about any Salvation Army for less than $10.

bandy 2009-11-22 05:31:27 PM
It's not a farking Fedora, it's a goddamn Trilby, the same hat the hipsters are wearing. Indoors. Heathens.

dofus 2009-11-22 06:02:59 PM
At first it was 'reviving economy' and I said "Cool" but then it was 'Michael Jackson' and I said "shait" and quit reading.

Then I thought "Who gives a fark about this piece of shiat. Enough already!" so I had to reply.

bandy: It's not a farking Fedora, it's a goddamn Trilby, the same hat the hipsters are wearing. Indoors. Heathens.

It has a ~2.5" brim, so it's a fedora. A trilby has a much smaller brim, around 1-1.5"

There's only one Fedora I would prefer used and it's not Michael Jackson's.

I really wonder, with the way he looked, the Diana Ross obsession and all, whether he wanted to be a woman. Which probably would have ended his career, causing great mental conflict.
