Walk This Way, which the band wrote with Stephen Davis (Hammer Of The Gods), was a good book and all I need to know about Tyler. I can't imagine what more he'd have to add.

Yep, that book covers everything they (the band) could remember, plus other stuff filled in by those around them. In their own words. It's about as definitive as you can get.

Summary: Stephen Tyler did more drugs than you can imagine. Really. When the band couldn't even afford food, he was buying drugs. From early youth, he was a habitual thief and druggie.
