Yeah that always cracks me up, lots of F1 teams based in England yet not competing as English teams. I don't have a problem with it, just find it amusing.

2. He'd cost something like 30 million a year to lure
3. He has little to gain, a lot to lose.
4. Even Kimi Raikkonen doesn't seem to want to stick around in F1 for a Mercedes drive.

Bah, Schumacher isn't the Stig. If he were the Stig, any time he would have been racing someone else (like Sabine Schmidt), he would have punted them off the course.

Ok, I'll agree that it is HIGHLY doubtful but what exactly does he have to lose?

His net worth is probably in the hundreds of millions. When he retired he was making what 60 or 70 million A YEAR?

Other than the normal risks associated with racing automobiles, what is the worst that could happen? He has an unremarkable year and dilutes his winning percentage? Big whoop. If he feels bad, all he has to do is take a quick glance at the bank account or trophy case and things will be all better.



In a Brawn/Mercedes he is very likely to win a few races and contend for the title for at least part of the season.

the only time he was the Stig was when he tested his own farking car on their track. that we know of, at least. otherwise, there's little reason for him to take such a role, it wouldn't pay enough to justify the time spent.
