While it's sobering to know that I will never be as good at ANYTHING as that guy is with bicycle acrobatics, I take comfort in the fact that I did not have to endure the massive number of strikes to the head and groin he had to take to become so.

I stopped riding bikes when I was about 15, and I must say if I knew you could do all this cool stuff on them, I probably would've been too chicken to try.

I liked when the on-lookers peered down the subway stairs expecting to see a mangled cyclist down there.

You're not. I know it wasn't him. But every time I set out on a long ride, I unscrew my gas cap, shake the bike, and mutter, "Switzerland" just the same. :)
