What, submitter, you weren't able to work "Cockermouth" into the headline?

dominick 2009-11-20 10:55:33 AM
noah way, that's sooooooo intense!

Ever been to Cockermouth?.

ecossais 2009-11-20 10:57:51 AM
He wasn't even able to Workington Cockermouth into the headline.

The body of the policeman has been found (new window), good and bad news I guess.

waterbrother 2009-11-20 10:58:05 AM
isn't this old news? i thought they just found his body. or was that some other policeman that went missing in a recent flood?

CaptSS 2009-11-20 10:58:11 AM
Here, I will do the math.... 314 mm is a little over 12 inches.

/that's what she said

"Britain has been hit by severe flooding in recent years, raising questions about the impact of global warming."

Huh? I thought "global climate change" was the new name, since that other one was deemed bullshiat.

CaptSS: Here, I will do the math....

I was told there would be no math.

A police officer should Noah better.

Cockermouth? I barely know her!

There must be a different ark to this story somewhere.

Since we are still cleaning up from our Biblical floods, we are NOT getting a kick out of these replies....

(Sympathies to the family of the policeman).

Done in one.

"You've got two males there and you need a female."

"I'm not bringing nothin' in, you change one of 'em!"

"C'mon, you know I don't work like that..."

Indeed, how was 'Cockermouth' overlooked?

A foot of rain is a lot, but the real problem here are those snaggle tooth brits inability to handle any kind of weather. These people go crying and biatching when the temps hit 80 in the summer. And they call cookies biscuits . That is all.

Pro Zack 2009-11-20 11:29:38 AM
"Police officer" was "missing" after "Biblical floods"

sounds like a porno.

kiehlster 2009-11-20 11:30:52 AM
Lets see... 314mm ~ 1ft. Mt Judi (the supposed site where Noah made land) 2089m ~ 6853ft. Biblical proportions? England may have its fancy schmancy language, but they'll never beat American or German math scores.

indylaw [TotalFark] 2009-11-20 11:32:47 AM
Impossible. After the Great Flood, G-d sent a rainbow as a promise that He would never again destroy humanity by water. Which, of course, means He would find a much more creative way to fark shiat up.

Digestive biscuits.

/Explains soooo much.

Not always a big fan of the police here in the UK but when one of them gets killed while directing traffic away from danger, well, that's pretty unambiguous.
He died doing his duty, so respect is due to him.

Sensitive? If that means hung over, then yes, very sensitive.
I have no idea what a birther is. Is that a pro life retard? Then no.
Not sure what you mean by death panels either, but they sound like a great band.

I just came in here to say Cockermouth.

/Is that near Peckerhole?

skcubrats 2009-11-20 12:25:07 PM
Cockermouth, just down the road from Papcastle...

Veeoh [TotalFark] 2009-11-20 12:28:35 PM
I came to see people say things like...

"That isn't a flood!! We get x inches most days" etc etc

Leaving happy.

One mention of teeth though.

/english
//not snaggle-toothed.

"Biblical flooding" and only one police officer is missing? Not very biblical...I would have expect ALL the police officers, half the town folk and a couple of sheep to have gone missing if the flooding was truly "biblical".
