After seeing the whole Al Franken/Norm Coleman and Bush/Gore recount debacles play out on both sides, I don't mind it when defeated candidates make legitimate and level-headed arguments for recounts. In elections, miscounted votes are inevitable. Sometimes, you need to go to the courts to get things settled in terms of what votes should be counted in which way.

But by the blood of the diabetic Christ, don't jump off the deep end and blame bogeymen like ACORN and the unions for it. That's just asking for a PR nightmare coupled with a bloodbath.

The republicans love to pray on people who are so willing to believe that there is no possible way a majority of the population does not agree with their distorted world view that when they lose, there must have been shannigans.
