AFC West arrest totals:

Denver: 24
Kansas City: 24
San Diego: 21
Oakland: 12

Clearly the Raiders are full of criminals and thugs.

Baltimore is listed only once. The little known 33rd NFL franchise located in "Balitmore" is listed just above Baltimore.

LOL, missed that.

21 Titans? Really? Oh, only 16 different players. Pacman has 6 by himself.

Why am I not surprised?

While New England is on there eleven times, it's interesting to note that nine of them were released almost immediately by the team. Does anyone know the story with Willie Andrews? It looks like he was given a second chance and blew it. Dumbass.

Don't let the link fool you. Basketball players are the real thugs.

So far this year the WR's are leading the way in arrests, but there's still time for Jeff Reed to catch them

I like how the San Diego resource lists only one team--the Chargers--by mascot. "Well, we've gotta put 'em on there, but let's make it look like we didn't."

I'd rather see a list of CONVICTIONS not arrests. Many of the charges against these players were dropped. They are, therefore, innocent so the arrest means absolutely nothing. I fact, I'd be surprised if there wasn't an overzealous cop trying to score some points by arresting a famous person.

How many people went in and just searched Cincy and were not suprised by the lengthy report?

The Patriots have a no nonsense owner and head coach, as well as a system where the players know their roles. Basically, how a team should be run.

Perhaps you forget that whole videotaping thing. They violated NFL rules. Not how a team should be run. For that, look to the Steelers.

It's been a rough year for Jeff Reed. First this:

Cited for criminal mischief and disorderly conduct after allegedly throwing tantrum in restroom of convenience store. He allegedly damaged towel dispenser after finding it empty.

The poor bastard had to pay $544 in fines for that!

Then this happened:

Arrested outside restaurant near Steelers' stadium, charged with resisting arrest, public intoxication after police say he raised fists while officers issued public urination citation to teammate Matt Spaeth.

I can't believe that Michael Vick was cited for trespassing after fishing at private lake in Virginia, a misdemeanor. I don't care that the charges were dropped. What a lowlife.

It looks like the 'WTF was he thinking' Award has to go to Najeh Davenport for Green Bay:

Arrested in Florida after a woman told police he had broke into her university dormitory room and defecated in a closet. Dropped after community service.

3/26/2006: Dhani Jones Philadelphia LB
Charged with failure to obey a lawful command -- a misdemeanor -- after he allegedly refused to stop dancing outside a South Beach club.

Hilarious

This is awesome. I've been trying to do a 32-team XFL for Madden and one of my teams is the Cincinnati Felons (one of several inspired by BASEKETBALL).

Only one current Bear on the list. Gotta like the fact that they dump bad eggs.

/Lance Briggs only guy on the list active.

And the real all felon team is Minnesota with 30, while the Rams are the chiorboys with 6.

shame it starts in 2000. They could have mentioned that time in 1998 that Leonard Little killed that woman driving drunk. Had I done that I would still be in jail. When tested, his blood alcohol level measured 0.19 percent. Little received 60 days and 1000 hours of community service. Six years later, after the involuntary manslaughter conviction was wiped from his record, Little was again arrested for drunk driving.

Can you blame him? After all that work, sometimes you just gotta drop a deuce.

Also, only one current Cowboy on the list out of a total of 8 (Chicago has 18 just FYI in case you didn't count).

Next time anyone calls them the "Dallas Felons" or WTF-ever they deem hilarious, I'm hauling this db out.

I guess there's no easy way to cross-check this against players' current teams. (e.g., we know Fred Smoot has been arrested, but he shows up in a search for Vikings, not for Redskins.)

Well, here's the way I see it: Pacman was arrested 6 times, none of which occurred while he played for the Cowboys. Tank was arrested 4 times, all of which occurred while he played for Chicago. Neither were arrested while they played for the Cowboys and neither play for the Cowboys now. So why should the Cowboys somehow be held "accountable" for their transgressions when they did indeed behave themselves (mostly) while they played here?

Defensive much? (Although I completely understand it coming from a Dallas fan.) All I was saying is, people have looked up two teams and seen a list of names where all but one are off the team. How many current Bears, Cowboys, Redskins, Lions, Seahawks, whatever have been arrested? I have no idea and there's no easy way to look it up. I'm not pointing fingers at any team specifically and said nothing about "accountability."

I'm sorry, but presenting an argument is not the same as being "defensive" in the negative connotation that you seemed to accuse me of being. And while there is no indication of current player status in that database, the truth is that one current Cowboy has been arrested in the past 10 years. It was easy to look up by finding a roster online and hitting "Ctrl+F" and searching for that player.

My point was basically that a lot of people who hate the Cowboys like to lean on that insult, when there is no basis in it whatsoever.
