I never understood the church thing. You go there to listen to some guy read the bible to you. We all know how to read, can't you just sit at home and read it? They spend so much building these gigantic ornate megachurches, couldn't their money be better spent feeding the homeless or something?

It just seems like trying to make a statement moreso than actually making a difference.

To be honest, there's actually a lot of material to work with in the Bible that would make a great game. It's certainly not hurting for lack of story. "Shadow of the Colossus" is arguably inspired by David vs. Goliath.

What cripples the chances of any Bible game is that it has to be uncontroversial to the most backwards and thin-skinned demograph in America, many of whom really don't know what the fark is in the book in the first place.
