Somewhat cute, but since I'm guessing we are supposed to critique the hotness of the girlfriend (this is Fark afterall), I'd take Colt McCoy's girlfriend instead.

So when did they stop putting breasts on women?

I'd do a lap in her pool.

Very cute. Except that Toby Gerhart is not a Heisman candidate. Is that what he's telling her?

I miss the pics of the large bosomed SbB hotties on the main page.

She's a swimmer. It's not very aerohydrodynamic(?).

I think if you're trying to pick up a girl by telling her lies, Stanford students would make poor targets.

She's hot. Solid work there, Toby.

Said it before, I'll say it again, there's nothing quite as hot as a female swimmer. And given how insanely demanding and difficult swimming is, it's pretty much impossible for a female swimmer to be "high maintenance".

/female divers also compete for the "hottest female athlete award"

As someone who swims at the collegiate level recently finished his swimming career, I've noted one thing that stands out. The faster the meets get, the hotter the girls are.

Blue Eyed Devil 2009-11-19 10:34:44 AM
I swam for 14 years and dated more than a few swimmers.... NEVER AGAIN! Seriously, anyone who spends that much time in a pool huffing chlorine fumes will have a few screws loose.... (yes that includes me).

Welp.... good luck.

Well, he would be if he went to a different school. He's got numbers every bit as good as anyone who is a current "Heisman contender".

Gerhart is a MLB prospect? An outfielder hitting .240 in 2008 with an aluminum bat? Really? He'd be better off trying for an NFL career than riding on minor league buses for 10 years.

I dunno, I think I'd have to go with the soccer or field hockey girls. Their sport is just as physically demanding, so you get girls that in are great shape, but swimming develops your upper body muscles so much, so the girls shoulders and biceps look a tad on the mannish side.

It's nitpicky to be sure, and I think female swimmers are great, but I'd have to give the edge to the soccer and field hockey athletes.

FTA: "It'll probably never get better for Toby Gerhart, a running back for Stanford who was largely anonymous until four days ago."

The only people who hadn't heard of him before last week are half-assed sportswriter who spend more of their time ingesting SEC cum than actually doing their farking job and knowing what's going on outside the old south.

Hit .240 in 2008 in 56 games with a .400 OBP and a perfect fielding record. Yeah, I'd say that he's an MLB prospect if that's the direction he wanted to focus on.

Field Hockey has some hotties, but I give the nod to soccer and track.

Splitting time with football. He might not be a huge major league prospect, but a guy of his size with the ability to take walks is a hot commodity for certain organizations. The minor league system lets you develop your craft full time. Still probably the hardest sport to break into the bigs with

Putting him in the top 150 players in MLB were he there to play in 2009. Better than David Ortiz, Jack Cust, Brandon Inge, and Carlos Pena. Only SLIGHTLY worse than Alfonso Soriano, BJ Upton, Dan Uggla, Clint Barmes, and Grady Sizemore.

You can teach someone to hit. You cannot teach speed, size, or mental abilities.

Are you trolling or do you just know nothing about baseball? A good hitter in college can hit in the mid .400's. How can you compare a guy hitting against college pitchers with a metal bat and a .240 average to MLB hitters. That's just dumb.

As far as the guy developing goes. College players generally have to graduate almost MLB ready as they do not get the five to seven years of minor league development like the kids who go straight into the minors get.

///not knowing any of his peripheral numbers
////don't think this guy has a chance in MLB

Played soccer in college -- there was only one attractive girl on girl's team. Some of them had pretty faces, of course -- but they almost all have big tree-trunk legs.

I think I love the swimmer girls due to the small waist -- you can almost wrap your hands around their waists and have them meet up. True, they do tend to have bigger shoulders -- but the feminine frame is kinda accentuated in a way that is distinctly different from any musculature a guy has. Personal preference, of course.
