Won't happen. Republicans won't vote for a Mormon. But that's okay, because there are plenty of crazies sarah could pick under the freeway.

Glenn Beck as White House spokesman though, that would be funny.

GraysonAC [TotalFark] 2009-11-18 03:07:04 PM
As much as I would love to see that combination, mostly because it would be such a gigantic failure, I really, really hope it doesn't happen. I don't agree with most Republican politics (not that it matters since I'm Canadian), but I'd at least like to see them represented by intelligent, rational people.

From an outspide perspective, farkwads like Beck just make the USA, which is a great place, look like a retarded ass-backwards shiathole.

It won't happen because it would be really really funny.

Imagine, the least experienced person in American politics, running together with someone who isn't even a politician at all. I suppose you could decide for yourself who is who in that sentence.

As a country you're better off without those who are so ignorant and misguided that they believe Palin and Beck would run the country well. Maybe there's a psalm for that.

Eddie Adams from Torrance [TotalFark] 2009-11-18 03:10:52 PM
I would support a Bachman/Beck ticket. The jam sessions would be epic.

Parts of it ARE retarded ass-backwards shiatholes. I bring to your attention the entire state of Kansas.

Newsmax: If a nation is to be judged by how it treats "the least of these," where are we at as a country right now?

Palin: We are to be judged by how we treat the least of these. In my mind that's ... those with special-needs, our elderly, it's our soon-to-be-born babies.

I didn't realize our retarded, our grandmas and our zygotes were at such a disadvantage in today's America.

I would love it, but it doesn't seem like the sort of thing that Beck would go for.

Yeah, but there's a difference between there being certain areas where the lower end of the curve congregate, and one of your two important political parties being championed by it.

There's a good number of intelligent Republicans, and the idea of those folks getting passed over in place of bigoted talking-heads.. bleh.

Good for comedy, not good for your country (or the rest of the world).

True. It's certainly an amusing spiral of doom. They're all but saying "rational people need not apply" at this point.

CitizenTed [TotalFark] 2009-11-18 03:31:25 PM
Just like an alcoholic, America won't really progress forward until it hits rock bottom. With Palin/Bachmann, we'd be a despotic fascist regime within months and the resultant clash with the civilized world would lay us low. Then, like Germany and Japan before us, a new progressive nation would be born from the ashes.

And besides, the carpet bombing campaigns would help rid us of our eyesore suburban landscapes.

AdolfOliverPanties [TotalFark] 2009-11-18 03:36:11 PM
Why isn't Beck investigating Sarah Palin's ties to anti-American groups? Surely, her palling around with a known secessionist, actually farking him at least five times, is something to be worried about.

I thought he loved his country!

...so in other words, you voted for Bush twice? I think you thereby lack standing to crack wise about the smarts of the Republican Party (or anyone else).

Wouldn't happen. The few countries that are powerful enough to pick up the pieces after that kind of fall aren't really countries that we would want to emulate.

My prediction is there will be a parade of farktards like the California Recall election, f*cking porn stars, gary coleman what have you. Meanwhile a sensible moderate (like Conan the barbarian) will sneak in the back door to win the nomination.

It'll never happen. Beck is too shrewd for that kind of nonsense. He has a sweet, sweet little scam running on America's stupidest 20%, and he sure as hell isn't going to risk that with something as impossible as a political race.

someone might want to tell mittens about that.

as much as i'd love a palin/beck run for the lulz alone, beck would never do it. it would require a massive pay cut and epic amounts of actual work. plus, he'd never debate anyone in a fair forum.

If anyone still doubts that Sarah Palin is one incredibly stupid fark, know that she thinks Glenn Beck is an admirable man who could make a good running mate for national office.

I rest my case.

This. Perhaps it's just that I'd rather believe in Occam's razor, and that Beck is just crazy. It's preferable to thinking that he's willing to spew his kind of rhetoric with malicious, self-aggrandizing intent.

TLDNR: I'd rather Beck be dumb and crazy than smart and evil.
