I'm a grown woman and I couldn't even get past the descriptive paragraphs on the back cover of the stupid thing. For my best friend's sake (she is obsessed with the Twilight series), I read the synopses on Wikipedia. Even reading those, I feared that my eyes might start weeping tears. She asked if I wanted to go to the midnight premiere of New Moon with her this week and I froze - I didn't want to offend her by declining, but I definitely didn't want to go. Luckily, my husband piped up with the perfect excuse. And yes, he got a steak & a bj for that...
