And they raised the price of a medium coffee here, so it's West Bend in the office, now.

There is no "small" at Starbucks. They require use of douchebag-ese and call it "tall".

Tall and grande are less here in Chicago, but a venti is more. Even the Starbucks people don't get it.

well they do have a short aka kids size, but that's only used for a few "grown up" drinks.

[Obvious] Corporations are going to charge as much as they can get away with to maximize profits. If you don't agree with the price of something, don't buy it.

Because more people buy the venti. They want to make the most profit on their most popular item.

Pros: coffee is cheaper.
Cons: you're still in Indy.

Obviously no one in this thread has ever played the lemonade stand game for the old apple computers or they would understand this logic.

Here in Vancouver they recently raised the price of a grande to 2.05, up from 1.98. A bit annoying, I think.

I bet that at least 95% of Starbucks first timers who wanted a large drink ordered a "tall" and ended up with a small. Happened to me, happened to a guy I work with who was sent out to get us Starbucks.

I don't care that "Venti" is large, just don't call your small drink farking "tall". "Tall" has never in anyway been a word you use for something that is the smallest of 3 choices.

I played it, but spent more time trying to get the powder level high enough to blast through the mountain in the artillery game.

HAHAHAHA DIDN'T SEE THAT ONE COMING, DID YOU BIA... oh crap, I'm late for Social Studies again.

Is this the part of the thread where I smugly say that I've never bought anything in a Starbucks? I was in one once to use the bathroom, so I can't claim that.

If IRCC, Rapmaster is a Hoosier, so he is allowed to bag on Indiana. Everyone else, not so much.

Is it douchey that I know that there is a "small" size at Starbucks called "short"? It's not on the menu; you have to ask for it.

8oz Short Cappuccino (douchepops)
