Not a clever headline there, but it's DEFINITELY true! :-)

The album 18 is a great relaxant. Unlike the recent Hotel and Last Night debacles...

I felt horrible because I couldn't get into Hotel.

/Still has the entirety of Play on my MP3 player, plus some of the B Sides.

/Love Song For My Mom might work though...

Subby also is not aware that Moby has the Guiness Record for the fastest song ever made, a hard techno track clocking it at 1000 bpm.

Guy made some seriously dark shiat back in the day.

Can't say I've listened to much of his music, but Anthem and Landing are great tunes.

That is also the dumbest song ever made. Johnny Violent had a hilarious retort, but I can't find a YouTube link of it.

Apart from the ambient mix of "Hymn," and perhaps some of his UHF tracks, he's never been that "dark."

'The Porcelain hitmaker's insomnia is so bad he often hallucinates through lack of sleep - but he is adamant he won't turn to medication to solve his restlessness.'

If he truly is hallucinating he needs to see a doc and fast.

His decision not to take meds - Ambien is not addictive - shows he is an idiot.

Been there. Done that. The doctor I saw was such a quack he had pin feathers. I presume a sleep clinic might have been of some use, but I doubt that it's covered by insurance. Good sleeping pills are around $2.50/ night.
A clinic would run into the many thousands of dollars.

At the two week mark of 1.5 hour/night sleep, you really start to get a little jittery. At the month mark, you do start to get beyond grim. Hallucinations? I don't know. At the 3 month mark, I broke down and took the pills. At 3 months, I don't believe I could have passed a competency hearing.

Real grim insomnia is scary schist. When I hear people dismiss sleep deprivation as Not Torture I want to scream.

Is this like the only old Moby song anyone remembers? It was one of his crappiest.

I actually love Moby's more chill/quiet songs than his more popular ones. "When it's cold I'd like to die" and ilk.
