Reason #487 why I hate that whole franchise.

Billy doesn't want the cameraman showing him crying? Walk it off biatch you lost.

When you're way up in a big game in the 4th quarter against a bitter rival, yeah, sure.

Piss off, Dr. Knockboots, your team is an emasculated bully:

What douchebags. That poor photographer probably makes a meager income selling his pictures, they cheated him out of it.

It was a TV camera guy. Which means somewhere a TV producer wants the goon's head on a platter. Oh and the the comish is going to be sending out a nice fine or two. They have rules about what is and isn't acceptable in terms how you treat media members on the field. Shoving one out of the way, is not acceptable. It wasn't an arm stretched out to get him to clear a path, he just up and got shoved.

Best of all? The footage of the incident is from the official NBC cameras. Which means they probably have it from a few angles. Good luck explaining this way.

I can't believe that Belicheck got caught in another videotaping scandal.

Did you see the game? The Pats had all but the last nail in Indy's coffin near the end of the game, then the Colts came back and dropped 14 points on them in a little over 2 minutes. Was Bill Belichick stunned? Yeah, he was.

Of course i saw the game. Shrug. I just don't get into the drama and I don't think a close game is anything to cry over.

Fair enough. I don't follow the game all that closely. I understand it though and I love a good game regardless of who plays/wins and it just seems wierd to call a 1 point win a stunning loss but I'd forgotten it was a slaughter until over halfway through.

As much as I hate Belichick it was indeed the cable pulling the cameraman to the ground, not a shove from the bodyguard.

Belicheat must have the quickest "handshake" in the NFL. Never seen someone that seems so arrogant that he seems like he can't stand to interact with anyone else. In the press conferences he also treats all the press like they are idiots and tries to say as little as possible.

On top of that, the NFL makes holding a press credential a EULA that waives your right to sue the nfl or franchise when something like this happens..his only recourse is criminal charges against the douchebag that tossed him.

That's the point. Most of the time the press is just trying to catch you saying something controversial so why not just say as little as possible.

But I'll give you the Urban Meyer video anyway.

Uhh..have you ever listened to one of those press conferences? Most of the questions are idiotic.
A lot of times he'll meet up with other players/coaches in the tunnel afterwards...and just wants to get off the field. I'd be annoyed by 100 cameras in my face too.

I didn't realize Steve Wilkos was moonlighting...talk show gig must not pay as well as he'd hoped...at least he's got all that "security" background so he's got something to fall back on...

I don't understand why people make such a stink about the post-game handshake. Baseball managers & hockey coaches don't stop to shake hands postgame; I'm honestly not sure about basketball coaches, but my guess is that they do not. So why are football coaches expected or obligated to hug it out?

Really, who cares how long the guys stand around and chit-chat? It's understandable when two guys with a history want to stop & chat, but Belichick & Caldwell have no history and little in common other than their professions. Why should either be forced to even say "congrats" or "good game", let alone anything more than that?

FT(linked above)A:
At full speed, it looks like Briggs takes the guy down without missing a beat, like a trained assasin nonchalantly breaking a neck. However, closer review shows that the cameraman, who was trying to get in position for a shot facing Belichick as he left the field, ran out of rope, like a robot with a six-foot extension cord.

It just so happened that Briggs made contact with the cameraman as the camera was yanking the man backward.

And there's the beginning and the end of it. But still, it's fun to see people instantly froth at the mouth the second the Patriots could hypothetically be guilty of anything but winning Super Bowls and nailing smoking hot Brazilian lingerie models.

/was rooting for the Pats for purely selfish reasons. I just wanted the Saints to be the only undefeated team in the NFL...

This. I know the hate is strong for the pats (I don't give a shiat either way, frankly) but how is it not obvious that this is what happened. If anything, it looked like the security guard was trying to help him up.

Exactly. The Pats seem to bring out the hate in so many bitter, angry people. But the Pats have crushed so many teams, it's only natural there would be casualties. Or "crybabies", if you will.

You know what never gets old? Having a perfect regular season and watching everybody else lose their minds trying to get Pats fans to react to taunts about something their team will never accomplish.
