As an Eagles fan and a Westbrook fan I hope he retires after this year. He's been less than stellar when in the game (having only 5 run calls a game isn't helping) and he's been injured more this year than any other I can remember. He's been an awesome player and from what I know a stand up guy. Hopefully he's able to play in the Super Bowl this year so he can go out with a ring.

I hate the Eagles but i don't hate individual players. I'm a Skins fan and had to watch Chris Samuels career end this year and I'll say the same thing about Westbrook that I said about Samuels. Take the money and run. You are barely 30 years old and have millions of dollars. You have 2 full chapters of your life yet to live. Don't ruin it trying to win the super bowl. In the end it's only a game.

Feel bad for the guy, but getting concussions this close together raises all kinds of health risks. If he tries to play again this year, maybe ever, he's a dumbass.

I saw the hit that caused his first concussion and the way he was hit, you knew it was f*cking him up good. The look on his face right after and in the following weeks was NOT a good one. Westbrook needs to retire ASAP because having one concussion is bad enough, but two occurring so closely? No.

I, too, think Westbrook should call it at least a season and possibly a career with two concussions only a month apart.

I really hope a doctor can talk some sense in to him this time. recovery time from concussions takes longer and longer every time you have one. if you try to come back before you are fully healed, then you run a much greater risk of becoming concussed again.
