Those power outages were annoying. Game started at 10:25 where I am. You figure, even with the 30 minute extra time, it wouldn't last past 1 AM. I'm not sure what time it actually ended, because I dozed off toward the end of the full 90', then again just a few minutes in to ET. Woke up with the 2nd quarter of the Celtics & Hawks on ESPN2. I was able to rewind my DVR and see LA's 2nd goal, but it clipped just enough such that I couldn't catch the first.

I was telling my buddy that Becks looked like one of the bad guys in Mad Max 2. During the power outages, we were channel surfing, and lo and behold, Mad Max 2 was on, to prove my point.

Blanco v Beckham is probably the best shot at the best MLS finals ratings ever. And Chicago doesn't look all that impressive right now, so the Gals have a great shot at a real title. I love how Lalas finally admitted that one of the ways the Galaxy improved was by firing himself.

Well, Beckham is a dick, a talented dick, but I do really like Donovan and the rest of the squad. I'm bummed my team, the Crew, didn't make it. Ideally I'd have liked to see them and Seattle in this. Alas, I'll root against Real Salt Lake on this one.
