This is only the second Browns-bashing headline today, what's going on?

NotoriousW.O.P 2009-11-13 08:30:12 PM
Seriously? Romeo wasn't that bad? The man who inspired his team to go six goddamn games without an offensive touchdown? The Browns said, "Romeo's a dead man walking. Let's go win for him." They got shut out by the BENGALS!!
That's the kind of loss where you fire the coach, GM, everyone down to the guys who sell the hot dogs.

So it's so bad they are going to quit their jobs that pay them hundreds of thousands a year to go work on a framing crew or a move truck? I didn't think so.

NotoriousW.O.P.

We were on our fourth string Quarterback by that point, scoring wasn't even feasible.

D-Liver 2009-11-13 08:48:31 PM
Yeah, Romeo. Hey, maybe Notre Dame can get Ty Willingham back. Or the Raiders can get Art Shell. You know, since the new guy's not working out. Maybe Iraq can get Saddam Hussein back. Oh I got it! Van Halen can bring back David Lee Roth! Then it will all be better.

D-Liver - now you're on to something. Close, but not quite there.

Howzabout Mangini in VanHalen, David Lee Roth can coach the Raiders, and Art Shell runs Iraq. Win/win/win.

Browns next head coach: Tom Cable. You heard it here first!

It's because the Browns are such an epic train wreck this year, and there is a lot of Mangini hate in the media and elsewhere. The Browns are fascinating. In a bad way.

This,

Plus Cinci is on the Kentucky border. I bet Drew is a Bengals fan and is relishing this chance toi bash the brows, since most Bengals have not had that oppertunity very much in the past.

What a pathetic backdown by Lewis. Even though he's on his last legs, he did have the career clout to say what he said. Now for him to come back and blame the media for the story is a sad cop out.

Be a man and stand behind your words.

I like how Mangini now uses the Pats as a classy organization who runs the same type of practice, and look how it helped the Pats succeed.

But when he was being called Mangenius back in NY and didn't need the Pats, he squealed like a pig and turned in that cheating bastard New England organization for illegal taping. It was the only way Belichick could win games...

We are human, do we have to call the Browns humans? There must be something below humans and above neandrathols. Cave men are not as good at football as Browns and humans.

Mangini can't be fired this year. The team owes him too much money. But the team does need an actual GM that can make decisions, and take player personnel decisions away from the boygenious

THIS x 1000 + negative infinity

The Pats have been a cah load of suck since geniuses like Weiss & Mangina have left.

Browns suck is just a by-product of Jets suck/over-hype.
Mangina got so much press while doing nothing with the Jets that another defunct organization snapped up a real winner while they could.

/Are you catching my sarcasm?
//No? Must be a Browns WR then.

Who cares? The Ravens and more specifically their Defense will put up some nice numbers for me in Fantasy Football this week, along with Aaron Rodgers, Chris Johnson, Cedric Benson, Thomas Jones, Roddy White.

He's questionable this weekend. I wouldn't pin a lot of hopes on him.

LOL, Aaron Rodgers? Not sure how long he'll be off the grass to be putting up big numbers. He might but don't you got someone better? He got rocked by the Tampa D, what makes you think Ratliff and Ware won't kill him.

Dont worry. Your "competent" QB is now at the helm. He will show everybody come Monday Night.

I don't expect him to have a very good game as he doesn't have a running game, receivers, or a very good offensive line. I do expect him to play better than DA.

It's our daily dose of Cleveland headlines brought to you by fark. We may only get 8-10 sports threads a day, but by god we'll get at least 2 with either Mangini or Cleveland. Which farking sucks, since they are the worst team in sports not based in Oakland. I assume soon the sports tab will just say Ohio on it anyday now.

You don't really know how fantasy football works, do you? Rodgers has been the best player in fantasy this year. Doesn't matter how many times he gets sacked or anything, he is putting up unreal numbers and getting lots and lots of consistent points.

Depends on the scoring rules for your league. Mine all deduct points for sacks against. Rogers is still a good option in these leagues but right now Matt Schaub is on top.

Honestly not really, I never done it before. I assumed getting a sack would count as a negative.

Let's make fun of the Redskins instead. Those motherfarkers deserve it.

Lost Thought 00: Mangini can't be fired this year. The team owes him too much money. But the team does need an actual GM that can make decisions, and take player personnel decisions away from the boygenious

Nonsense; Lerner is a billionaire and he's already paying Davis, Crennel and Savage for the rest of their contracts, so what's another couple of million? Mangini has, IMO, gone past the point of no return; the fans and some of the players are criticizing him, and the local Cleveland media is on the hatefest as well. Short of the team suddenly winning 8 games in a row and dominating every NFL stat for the rest of the season, Mangini is gone at the end of the season, if not earlier.

Mosox42 2009-11-15 10:11:44 AM
As a Browns fan Romeo was an absolute piece of crap. If you call a time out and then throw a challenge flag and still lose the challenge, then you have no business playing Madden '94 on the Super Nintendo let alone be a real NFL coach (even if it is for the Browns).
