(Some Guy) Weird Murder suspect tells jury he has the cure for global warming, knows how to win in Afghanistan, and that George Bush was just a figurehead while he really ran the country. It should come as no surprise that he represented himself in court   (bnd.com) divider line 48

I know if I had committed a crime which I may get caught for someday, I'd do what I could to lay the frameworks for an insanity plea if I ever got caught.

I mean for instance, let's say I raped and murdered a girl back in 1990 - I'd probably spend the next 19 years doing/saying things that can later be used as defense evidence, proving I am mentally disturbed.

Automatic appeal upon conviction as he is obviousely not of sound mind to adequately represent himself.

If he knows these things, what the hell was he doing when he was in charge of the country? Farking with us?

"A man who represents himself has a fool for a client."

In this case, I would also accept insane. Of course, claiming that you had incompetent representation is like murdering your parents and begging for mercy because you're an orphan.

Actually, explains a lot.

I would have said Ted Kennedy

but his grinning skull is sitting on my kegerator

genner 2009-11-12 11:27:03 PM
Wait,he's claiming responsibility for everything Geroge W did?
Can we just hang him without a trial since he's already confessed to a whole slew of crimes?

SmedIndy: Middle name = Wayne = GUILTY!!!

All men with three names are guilty, but it's usually for rape, murder or rape. Not for being a semi-incompetent former president.

I say we hear him out.

This.

In fact, I would like to conduct a study of insane rants
and analyze them for similarities in content and structure.
I never did find out what David Horowitz was forced to
read on the air at gunpoint.

That's exactly what I was thinking. Now we understand all the debacles of the Bush regime.

It ain't a secret. Just willful ignorance on the part of them that don't.
