The referees have a tough decision to make on that. If they're going to punish the teams for a brawl, giving out two offsetting penalties doesn't do it.

The hit by Landry was unexcusable. I'm getting sick of him. He can hit a QB late out of bounds but whiffs on a running back in bounds. He jumps around like a jackass when he tackles some slow ass receiver on a bad play. How about learning to tackle a running back? DHall needs to learn how to tackle too. He got dump trucked by Jake Delhomme. Rumor has it DHall still has a bruise from one of the tennis ball's on Delhomme's walker.

Yeah, Hall might have said something while he was picking up Landry, but he never advanced on a Falcon's coach or got physical with anyone until the Falcons coach confronted him and the Falcons players swarmed him. At that point he did defend himself. The Falcons coach should be fined by the league IMHO. You can also considering fining Landry for his love of late hits if you must.

It looked to me like Hall was trying to pull Landry out of there, and got grabbed by one of the coaching staff and a player. I know Hall is a douche, but it really didn't look to me like he did anything wrong here. I think the Falcons were reacting to the hit, rightly so, but they got the wrong guy.

This is like the 8,000th time I've seen Mike Smith stand up for his players (usually it's yelling back at an opposing player who's taunting a Falcon on the sidelines), and I only watch maybe 2 Atlanta games a year.

I wouldn't say he's the best coach in the league, but I can't think of anyone else if I were a player I'd love to play for any more.
