(Contact Music) Obvious Taylor Swift's boyfriend, Taylor Lautner, says he scared at the idea of Swift writing a song about him. Yeah, we'd be scared to; her lyrics are childish and read like emo for teenage country fans   (contactmusic.com) divider line 89

Bullshiat. You're on fark so it's unpossible that you haven't seen the Kanye west/taylor Swift thing ... Unless you live under a rock in Somalia you've heard about these people.

Taylor Swift is to country soft-rock what Avril Lavigne is to punk.

You didn't miss out on much, apart from a yet another artist with a pretty face.

Subby's words are childish and read like emo for people who speak English as a second language.

Eh, I consume more coal-produced electricity than all of you, and I still consistently mix up Taylor Swift and the Hannah Montana chick, Billy Ray Cyrus' kid. She's the one that made the jump to pop music by alienating her previous demographic with songs about bisexuality, right?

//CraicBaby, I'm happy for you and I'm gonna let you finish, but srtpointman had one of the best meta-commentary trolls of all time. The best trolls of all time.

1. I kind of like some of her songs on the radio. I like them the same way I like Phil Vassar's "Carlene" -- catchy song, but afterwards I feel ashamed at myself for liking something that stupid.

2. I would not get involved with somebody who had a reputation for turning boyfriends into songs heard by millions.

3. Taylor+Taylor? Really? Coincidence or narcissism?

I know about the Kanye West thing at the MTV awards, so, yeah, I know she's a singer of some sort. I couldn't name one of her songs, though.

Jim_Callahan: CraicBaby, I'm happy for you and I'm gonna let you finish, but srtpointman had one of the best meta-commentary trolls of all time. The best trolls of all time.

I wasn't trolling, though. At least, not on purpose. I RTFA and I still barely know who those people are. I don't listen to pop or country music (well not the new stuff) and I don't involve myself in that Twilight crap. Just because someone isn't obsessed with pop culture doesn't mean they're an anti-TV snob.

I was watching SNL with my brother last night and we both reached the same conclusion within 5 minutes of the show.

She comes across as someone who is probably extremely annoying and aggravating in person.

That's the first reason.

The second: She's a shapeless stick.

Third: I've got older dust bunnies.

Only saw the last twenty minutes and was surprised that she wasn't terrible in her 'acting' skills and was actually sort of funny.

Having said that her songs do sound like emo-pop country.

And she's not that pretty with her scrunched up, rotent-like face.

Some one PLEASE post some Amanda Lambert

I've seen a couple of interviews of her. She's actually a pretty normal star. I've also read what people she has worked with have said about her. Everyone says she is real cool and in no way a diva or biatchy.

I know everyone has been slamming subby's grasp of the English language, but am I the only one who noticed this FTFA?

Did anyone else think that was a really awkwardly written article? Like perhaps a 3 year old just beat on the keyboard for a few minutes?

Since having the same name as your honey is kinda awkward, I think she should adopt a catchy, meaningful nickname. Like "AutoTune" Swift.

Taylor Swift writes her own songs? I thought they were written by middle aged Jews, and repackaged as "pop country" so that she could have a career for three to four years, and then be quickly forgotten, when the next "teen sensation" comes along.

/Her music is boring

But it succeeds in its primary goal: humiliating everyone that ever dumped her. Ha.

I like Taylor Swift's music.

Yeah, I said it.

She sucks live, but her songs are cute for 14 year old girls, which is obviously her target audience. She's just giving them what they like.

And from what I've seen and read about her, she seems like a pretty decent person. Seems down-to-earth and actually kind of dorky.

Dear Parents,

Before going fully stupid and giving your child a last name in place of their first name... consider what will happen if she marries someone with that last name.

Taylor Taylor.... Kennedy Kennedy. i guess she could be one of those cranky biatches that hyphenates. Taylor Swift-Taylor....

It's not cute... it's idiocy. Respect my commandments:

The sad part is that songs written by her for 14 year old girls don't sound much different than the songs written by professionals for 45 year old soccer moms. And that ladies and gentleman is what is considered country by many people today. Sad. At least the pop country of yesterday wasn't quite so cheesy.
