The Cleveland Show, the painfully unfunny Family Guy spinoff, is hoping some celebrity casting will them. So, they've enlisted...Hall & Oates. Good luck getting that second season pickup

Didn't it get signed up for a second season before any of the first season aired?

What was the name of that ABC Mike Judge cartoon series that was full of hippie liberals that went nowhere really fast?

Yeah, this is Seth's version of that show.

Did they accidentally the whole thing?

Some suits from Fox came into the office the other day, and I thought about asking them to bring back Futurama. I suppose a better question would have been "What do Seth MacFarlane's balls taste like?"

yeah that's what I heard. cartoons are low budget and they get good ratings just for being a Family Guy spinoff.

I like the Cleveland Show. It's not because it's enjoyable but because it's inspirational. As an unemployed person it is the carrot and stick for me to jobhunt. If I don't apply for five jobs per week then I have to watch the show. Believe me, I have a sprained wrist from filling out job applications just so this show isn't inflicted on me.

Family Guy was (usually) funny for the first few seasons. It was already tired and worthless by the debut of American Dad; The Cleveland Show proved that Seth doesn't know when to quit.

/ as further evidence, the "comedy show" ad you probably see to the right

I only watched about 15 minutes of one show before I changed channels. I wouldn't mind having those 15 minutes back.

Is the entire show full of suck, or does it have its highs and lows?

Considering that Family Guy is worthless crap, it's astounding to me that anybody could have believed a spinoff from it would be anything but worse.

family guy is generally unfunny anymore but american dad delivers the funny for me just about every episode.

The Cleveland Show is slightly less offensive Family Guy. It is not horrible, and certainly no worse than American Dad. I've not quite figured where they plan to go further with the bear and the wannabe hipster neighbor characters.

Futurama is coming back. On Comedy Central I think. I'm too lazy to look it up.

I heard his balls taste like they smell. Frankincense and Myrrh

They did, and that's how babby was formed.

Fail tag is for subby. Family Guy part 3 got signed up after the third episode or something silly like that.

Heh.

I see what you did there.

/ wonders if lyrical references to Hall & Oates are lost on people born after 1975...

Though the Cleveland Show has been subpar, subby fails for poor grammar and knowledge about the show having a second season. Proceed with the flogging.

I actually enjoy The Cleveland Show. Genuinely. I was really hesitant toward Cleveland being a main character, but I think it works and the supporting cast is fairly enjoyable.

Spinoffs and the secondary shows always take a little while to get used to. I didn't like American Dad at first nor Futurama, but once I watched a few on their own merits rather than the show they springboarded from, I grew to enjoy them.

How I rank Fox Sunday nights...

1) American Dad
2) Family Guy
3) Cleveland Show
4) Simpsons

Pretty sad how the once mighty have fallen.

A painfully unfunny series is going to produce a painfully unfunny spin-off.
