But seriously, this is what you do with clowns. You don't pay attention to them. Why should a woman keep going back to the man who beats her? And why should we care when the woman-beater's defenders and friends cry out that she deserved it because she never even gave him a chance?
Refusing to associate with absurd hacks is a matter of integrity. Refusing to associate with people who associate with absurd hacks is a similar matter of integrity, depending on how much absurdity we're talking about.
So we're linking to Michelle Malkin's blog about another blogger who spoke to an anonymous consultant about his perception of the "tone" used by an undisclosed White House source about an his/her appearance on an undisclosed Fox show?
Despite the fact that no names are mentioned, I firmly believe that somebody somewhere said something to someone else, so therefore the whole article must be true.
So Obama wants the Democrats to refuse to talk to Fox. Sounds like a good idea, Fox doesn't really care what they say anyway. Fox just likes demonizing/occasionally lying about Democrats.
And I like how Ed implies you must be a Leftie to hate Fox News. No, you just have to have common sense and care enough about the truth. And of course a hard-Left agenda isn't pushing through Congress. There are no hard lefties there.
I will, however give credit to Fox for not name dropping on the shooter yesterday, while MSNBC said something about a guy with an "Arab sounding name". And they did beat CNN in the coverage, but that's like beating up an amnesiac cancer ridden guy in a wheelchair.

/'hack' is in the eye of the beholder //'tolerance of dissent' requires actual 'tolerance' not mere talking point bullshiat.
The validity of your opinion is best demonstrated on the third line of your post, where you confuse, deliberately or not, the word "tolerance" with the word "acceptance".
There are many things I tolerate which I do not accept. It is an important distinction. We tolerate the dissent of Fox News -- at least you implicitly admit they're bias since they are, in your own words, "dissenting" -- because to do otherwise would violate a fundamental principle of liberated countries; namely that of freedom of expression.
We do not accept their chicanery, however, because to do so requires an odious level of idiocy that only a person such as yourself is capable of willfully demonstrating day in and day out.
It is the reason why we can tolerate Fred Phelps, but we do not accept him.
What a well-sourced article. My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who heard the White House threatened a strategist. I guess it's pretty serious.
First, it has just enough a whiff of legitimacy that you think it's a valid argument, either to state or repeat. It's pretty much endless humour at your expense.
Second, it's guaranteed you'll never learn. Let's face it, ad hominem tu quoque being a Latin term, and therefore related to French, and therefore related to gay surrender in the minds of Conservatives, will not be something you could ever possibly bring yourselves to look up and learn from.
