Not who I think should play Ranger Smith (in a movie that shouldn't be made), but, my predictions on who they would pick:
1. Will Farrell
2. Steve Carrell
3. Owen Wilson

Man this reeks of Love Guru stench...now there's a thought. Verne Troyer as Boo-Boo!

Wow... I'm not in the target audience this film's undoubtedly going to shoot for (8-13, with some fart & poo jokes thrown in for the 13-16 year olds), but this is a horrible, horrible idea in my opinion.

Then again, who can forget the blockbuster that was Underdog... People were lined up around the freakin' block for that one, I tell you... Sold out for days...

I really stopped caring about this type of thing when the Alvin and the Chipmunks movie came out. It's like the suck of that movie just ripped out my capacity to feel anything about an adaptation of a beloved childhood cartoon.

But yeah, I bet they get Steve Carrel to play the Ranger. He's got the look, and he's pretty hot right now. The only problem is, Carrel is only as good as the script he's got (as opposed to a Johnny Depp who makes movies better by his presence alone, or...I dunno, most other actors who make movies worse just by being in them). This will not be a good or funny script.



Anyone else remember Yo! Yogi!? It tried to reimagine Hannah Barbera cartoon characters as early 90's teenagers, but really just managed to make Yogi look like a day-glo pimp.

OMFG... Snagglepuss a'la Dwayne Wayne... I'm dying... So freaking funny.

Also, it looks like they tried to make Snagglepuss the jock. Yeah, the one that spends a little too much time in the shower after the game while the other guys rotate.

At least Huckleberry Hound looks like a stoner, and that makes sense. Boo Boo just looks like Yogi's side business when the girls aren't selling well enough.

Just add the words: "Directed by John Kricfalusi" and I'm in.
