We might as well stop, I looked at the list of books we haven't used yet and none of them have any pun potential.

This article implies a serious problem for the "movement atheists". Because they just don't want to be silenced, they aren't spending a lot of time listening to others in their ranks. There is really no cohesive movement at all.

I've always liked to think of atheism this way:
Millions upon millions of the top thinkers of all time, in every age, understand the universe in a way that makes the concept of your God irrelevant. But no, go on with your hunch. Let your emotions drive you, based on what you've been told by people you are scared not to trust.

It causes a level of frustration in theists I can't describe. And you'll never change an adults mind; they are wired that way. You have to get the children.

TFA: Many atheists want to be able to be atheists without being dragooned into some boring noisy unsubtle bad-tempered "movement". Many other atheists want to be able to be overt explicit unbashful atheists without constantly being told to be more euphemistic or evasive or respectful or just plain silent by other atheists, who surely ought to know better.

Actually many of us just want to be explicit, unbashful [sic] atheists without taking shiat from all the religious types around us. Without being told we're sinners, going to hell, abusing our children (yes I've been told that), or crazy. Without having to hide our beliefs (or lie about them) out of fear of being fired by the god-fearing boss.
If it's a "movement" that's needed to get there, then so be it.

Their should be a movement to get evolution taught in Sunday schools and churches in every town where creationism in taught in public schools.

And what's there to teach in creationism anyway? Once you say "God made everything", where do you go?

By the way, there have been quite a few recent articles, by religious folk, about atheism, in the UK news in the past couple of months. So you have to view this article in that light. It's more of a response to other articles rather than its own isolated thing.
