Human perspiration is largely odorless until it is fermented by bacteria. Bacteria thrive in hot, humid environments. The human underarm is among the most consistently warm areas on the surface of the human body, and sweat glands provide moisture, which when excreted, has a vital cooling effect. When adult armpits are washed with pH basic soaps, the skin loses its acid mantel (pH 4.5 - 6), raising the pH to become basic. Bacteria thrive in high pH or base environments. Creating such an environment in the armpit makes it more susceptible to bacterial colonization. The bacteria feed on the sweat from the apocrine glands and on dead skin and hair cells, releasing 3-methyl-2-hexenoic acid in their waste, which is the primary cause of body odor. Underarm hair wicks the moisture away from the skin and aids in keeping the skin dry enough to prevent or diminish bacterial colonization. The hair is less susceptible to bacterial growth and therefore is ideal for preventing the bacterial odor.
Btw, I call shenanigans on this on him actually sending all that stuff. I mean, does he really have the postal addresses of the entire Baltimore secondary? Seems like if he just wanted to make a silly joke he only needed to send a single basket to someone like Lewis or Reed.
I wouldnt be surprised if there was a big ol' NFL address book that the players have access to. As much as they might "hate each other on the field" and all that other BS, at the end of the day, they have to know it's just a job, right? A job that pays you a crap-ton of money to hit and be hit.
Anyway, yes. I, too, think Chad Ochocinco embodies everything that professional sports should be.
And as egotistical as he is, he still has two less paintings of himself as a centaur than purple lipped freak A-Rod.
I think Ochocinco is great. He is a breath of fresh air in the No Fun League. He works hard, you never read a story about him skipping practice or dissing his teammates.
I hope he keeps this persona up for a long time. There needs to be more guys like him.

Like GeorgePasada said I'm sure as a NFL player he has some access to other player's personal information and even if he doesn't he probably could just call up a few friends to find out. But would that even be necessary in this case? Seems like he could just send it to the Raven's stadium c/o Ravens D and they'd still get it.
Hmm. Still seems like an awful lot of trouble to go to. And what kind of deodorant did he get them? He probably could have made a lot of money just by mentioning the brand on air, but didn't.

There must be a place where all of these football players go. Somewhere where they might all be at the same time to do some kind of football thing.
