I don't think I really want to smell Britney's circus fantasy.

Isn't Britney's name on the ticket enough of a warning?

Seriously, you are getting your money's worth seeing how Amy Winehouse still manages to live.

And so they're under the impression that she can actually sing?

Every song she's recorded has been mixed and altered beyond belief. They could have had James Earl Jones simply reading the lyrics into a microphone and still wound up with what you hear in a Britney Spears song.

Poor people, after Falco died they don't have local stars to listen to

I was in Vegas once, and went to see the 'Legends in Concert' show that was once at the IP, and is now at Harrah's, and one of the 'acts' was a BS impersonator - and she was actually pretty good - possibly because she really singing live...

BTW, the 'acts' that were (and my grades):

'Bobby Darin' - B- He was OK, but not so thrilling

'Brittney" B+ Actually sang live, and was pretty good with her moves

'Garth Brooks' C Eh....talked too much, you could tell he was still learning the bits, pretty mediocre....even for Brooks

'Sting' - A VERY good set, played bass for real, and a very very good impersonation.

'The Temptations' A+ Excellent, exciting show. Probably not too different from an actual Temps show, with smooth transitions from hit to hit, and every one excellently done.

'Elvis' - A+ This guy at the time had the rep of being one of the best Elvis impersonators around, and he did NOT disappoint. Did a reverent take on E, but without the caricature.

who would want to pay to watch her lip sing? I don't even like her..and you all know she does not ever sing live..with her ciggy smoking all she can do is breathe hard from the moving around so much..she is a fake fake fake fake..and i don't care if u get mad..I just don't see the point in spending money when you can see the same thing at home..its cheaper and you can change the channel....Yes i smoke and i would be winded as she is. All you would hear if she actually sang is hard breathing..

She seems excited to be in Australia even if the feeling isn't mutual.

Winehouse can actually sing, unlike Spears. Just because she is a raging substance abuser doesn't mean she doesn't have talent. It's a shame she has chosen the path of Janis Joplin, but it is what it is.

i really miss britney threads, there's been a recent lack, and i think we need more of em, and lets throw in some paris hilton just to spice things up a bit

I think what would be more appropriate than adding a warning to the ticket would be to require all Britney concertgoers to wear a T-shirt that says, "I consider a Britney Spears concert to be quality live entertainment," any time they go out in public to warn the public about their taste in live entertainment.

It's be a combination of elephant dung, burned funnel cakes, cotton candy, dried human sweat, freshly printed dollar bills, and syphlitic vag.

Ok so, it's a whole chick-rock band performing in someone's lo-fi living room studio, sue me.

Hobodeluxe: are there any Britney fans who care?

EXACTLY what I came here to say. I have seen comments from fans of Britney and her ilk saying things like "who cares if she is really singing? I go for the SHOW!"

These people are not music fans, they simply are amused by sparkly things.
