writing in a faux-hipster style and bandying about terms like 'post human'
makes them intelligent commentators.

FTA: "pax Al-Qaeda" ... really? This has got to be the stupidest expression ever invented and the whole rest of the article is garbage because the person tried to pass this phrase off.

Holy fark.

Hmmm, lesseeee:

"A city destroyed by a nuclear weapon or made unlivable by a "dirty bomb" will reinstantiate moments later by way of Corps of Engineers/FEMA fablabs."

C'mon! We all know what fablabs are!

We're all alive
It's because we're alive that we're singing
We're all alive
It's because we're alive that we're sad

When I try to look at the sun through my palms
My blood flows, bright red

Even the worms, even the crickets
Even the water striders
We're all, all alive
We're all friends

That was an article clearly written by someone who isn't nearly as intelligent as they think they are. They know how to spell a lot of those words, but obviously don't understand what they actually mean.

This reads like parody.

A city destroyed by a nuclear weapon or made unlivable by a "dirty bomb" will reinstantiate moments later by way of Corps of Engineers/FEMA fablabs.

When it's possible to bring to bear all the power necessary to reconstruct an entire city within moments it seems safe to assume that nuclear weapons will fall somewhere close to the position currently occupied by atlatls on the dangerousness scale.

Windows ME? You owe me a clean pair of pants. At least they aren't Zombie Ninja Robots running a 6 year old install of Windows ME that was used by someone who knew just enough about computers to install those freaking IE toolbars.

Backing up your knowledge on the internet to keep yourself alive seems to be the same as claiming that since Pink Floyd albums exist, the band members are immortal.

Did anyone else cry during that part? (by the way, gotta listen to the Japanese version, dub doesn't do it justice)
