With the exception that the onion is funny. They have some great pieces up on their main page as of right now. They are also the best satire site the internet has ever offered.

The Onion videos show a lot of creativity and a gift for dead-on parodies of the banality of TV news banter. But the typical Onion text story these days is some lazy rehash of the basic "Area man realizes his life is pointless" template. Whoo ha, stop me, I'm laughing so hard my sides hurt.

But sometimes they can be pretty funny (new window).

I have never seen Lewis Black be funny - feel free to post examples to the contrary. He's angry and liberal, which I like, but he's not funny. Dunham jumped the shark long, long before they gave him a show.

The movie, with the exception of maybe two skits, was horrendously stupid.

I'll bet they chose the sports network because it's probably easier to parody all of it day in and day out. Also, I love the steam room! All those steam puns crack me up!

The Onion movie is the funniest movie I've seen in years. Weak ending, but the first 2/3s is gold.
