Wow, a sign about how Bush is a war criminal.

How.....beyond the pale. Truly.

This was a GOP sponsored and promoted protest.

But, but Democrats! Don't you flame people for such lame counters?

Oh, yeah, and none of those were at official Democratic protests. These were at official GOP protests organized by the elected leadership of the party. False equivalence is false.

Of course, the first picture is a satire of a satire... or are the works of Charlie Chaplin lost on you?

Slide show doesn't work. From the first pic it looks like what's typical of any PETA protest ever though. Protests bring the crazies, no exceptions. If you look for the crazies it'll over shadow just about any protest, at least where people bring signs.

Two wrongs make a right...gotcha

Were those Bush signs at rallies sponsored by Congressional Dems?

Well, that makes it okay then!

When the fark did Dennis Kucinich ever call Bush a Nazi? That, essentially, is what the House GOP is doing here.

Protests might be more effective without the protesters.

Do we know for certain that no libs with offensive signs got any encouragement from the Dems ? Cause if they did, or if there's even a chance that they did then that makes the tea party signs ok.

Did Dennis Kucinich ever officially say that Bush wasn't a Nazi ?

It used to be the administration's job to make the rules. It used to be us against them. Now its us against us.

I've been here for 30 years and I got to tell you guys, what's going on here is about America. Its about democracy. Its about the Bill of Rights, basic cable, call waiting and free trips to the salad bar! It's about everything that's makes this country great; OUR COUNTRY!

We can do something about this, we can finally say, when some people are having a good time, drinking some beers, throwing some meat, that we're not gonna protest.

...

We're not gonna protest.

...

We're not gonna protest!

We're not gonna protest! We're not gonna protest! We're not gonna protest!

/Gutter is a tool!

All other arguments aside, if you're going to defend that banner of dead bodies from Dachau comparing it to Obama's health care plans then you're one seriously farked up person, just as farked up as the person who made it, and everyone there who saw it and said "right on!!".

So farked up that there is no real word to describe just how farked up that is.

That banner is perhaps the single worst thing I've ever seen held up at a protest, and we've all seen the stupid shiat those extreme fundamentalist muslims like to hold up at their rallies. Even though I also disapprove of those with Bush / Hitler comparison banners a Charlie Chaplin Bush / Hitler or a sign calling Bush a war criminal come no where close to comparing.

Don't defend that banner, it's disgusting and all involved should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves.

/I hope Bush / Hitler won't be filtered

It floors me to see a bunch of seniors carrying signs that say "keep the government's hands off my health care". OK, we'll just stop sending you those Medicare checks. Problem solved.

And someone please tell me exactly how providing health care to people is "taking away our freedom". If non-sequiturs were losers, this argument would be Jon Gosselin.

I've been having problems with some slide show links and it turned out to be Adblock Plus. YMMV

Agreed. I can't even put into words how dumb it is to say that the Holocaust was, in any way, the same as providing health care to citizens. WTF?

Of course the signs (on both sides) are okay. A little juvenile and over the top, but okay. You're supposed to have a pretty healthy mistrust of government. Your job as a citizen. Checks and balances. The individual politician doesn't really have your best interest in mind, as so many of you have pointed out repeatedly (though, usually concerning "the other team". These threads are always so funny. The stock some of you put in politicians you've never met, know anything about or would let into your homes...mind boggling.

It works if you don't use the link here, just go to huffingtonpost.com and find the article - it's on the main page.

If Dante were alive today, I would hope he would reconfigure Hell with special attention to people who put up slideshows on the internet -- or submit them to fark. Not to mention telemarketers, hackers, purveyors of quack erectile disfunction nostrums, whoever decided to put high fructose corn syrup in every single food sold in America, protestors who hold up incredibly stupid signs and those kids who keep coming onto my lawn.
