Even those shiat moview were money in the bank. There is no justifiable reason he is broke... other than maybe the snake venom. Who doesn't need snake venom.

That role in 2012 could have saved him, but nooooooooo. They HAD to go with Cusack.

I know for a fact that he gave Johnny Ramone a real shrunken head when Johnny was still alive.

Nick is weird dude.

/He also has supposedly one of the biggest comic book collections in the world.

They were just being sensitive because Cusack's gay. Or was that Ed Norton? Kevin Spacey? One of those guys.

He may have some equity in a lot of those big ticket items, I doubt he owns many of them outright.

-Tell that to anyone with Enron stock. His private islands, castles, cars and yachts are probably worth quite a bit less than they were when Cage first bought them, and that's not counting the losses incurred due to upkeep (staff salaries and repairs) and taxes. The property taxes on the castles alone must be worth a pretty penny.

I really need to set up my financial management business to the stars in Hollywood. I would take on all sort of clients in management of their assets, my fees would be modest, and it would work like this:

Nicholas Cage would call me up and say, "Hey, I need some of my money because I need to buy a castle."

"A castle?"

"Yeah, a castle. Over in Europe. It has an orangery."

"What the hell's an orangery?"

"I don't know, but this castle has one and I want it."

My final reply would always be, "No."

See how easy that would be?

You wouldn't even need to tell them no. If people are spending that much money so haphazardly, you could bullshiat them out of it the way they're bullshiat into it.

"Say, Nic....you really want this?"

"YES!"

"Well, it's going to take a few days for us to get everything set. How about you take a couple thousand and buy some European hookers? They do anything."

A few days later...

"Okay, we're ready for that castle orangery thing."

"Never mind, man. I'm good. Can you send a few more grand for the hookers?"

"Not a problem, man."

What these actors need is someone to rein them in without being too pushy. A few hundred grand a year salary and it's no sweat. You can make a killing being a handler.

I never said sold for equal value or more, You could probably still sell your Enron stock certificates, you know, as novelty gifts or toilet paper.

He paid a fortune for the ultimate elvis collectible (Lisa Marie) and then probably spent another fortune to get rid of same. Not a real good head for business, but I remember seeing on the internet somewhere where he has a good head for a bird of prey to nest on. Even saw pictures once.

Well considering his business manager failed to pay Cage's taxes (among other things), I actually feel pretty bad for the guy. Of course he'll just make National Treasure III and earn $15 mil, so I don't feel TOO bad. Still, it sucks being taken advantage of.

Then maybe he should sell some of them off, then he wouldn't be broke anymore. He could even still shoot cobra venom and have bird hair.
