Add me to the Mono survivors' list. I came down with it my senior year of high school, and was out of school from Thanksgiving until the return from Christmas break.

It's a great weight loss program. I was skinny back then, and still managed to lose 25 pounds.

Ahh, mono. The best two weeks of my senior year of high school.

I still remember playing about a season or so of NHL '94 on my PC while at home. Good times.

I heard it actaully isn't mono, but full blown AIDS.

Carwin's BJJ background is why Brock won't bring it to the ground...at best Brock holds down fighters that are usually smaller than him, then bludgeons them. Carwin is too big and decent enough on the ground that Brock doesn't want to mess around with that...I'm thinking stand-up all the way.

I got it senior year in HS. I got sick the day before Xmas break. My mom thought I was faking to get an extra day of vacation, until the diarrhea started. I was sick the whole two weeks of break and wasn't well until the day we were supposed to go back to school. Worst Xmas evar.

It'll be interesting for sure. what'll really suck is if Carwin fights while waiting on Lesnar, gets hurt, then doesn't get his shot for along time.

I can't tell you how disappointed I am. Mono is spanish for monkey, I was so hoping that Lesnar was going to be battling one of those crazy-strong orangoutangs.

Mono gave me a week long high fever and I coughed until my throat bled. The worst part was I got it about two weeks after I got my wisdom teeth out so I was on a liquid diet for most of a month. I dropped from 170 pounds to about 140 and I could see most of my ribs.

I can't imagine that's good for a fighter.

That sucks. Mono is no fun. When I had mono it was like having the flu for 6 weeks. I was looking forward to Carwin kicking his ass.
