I've found that the diaper industry is a lot like the motor oil industry, specifying more frequent changes than necessary.

You really don't need to change those diapers out until they hit 50 pounds or so.

Wow, that's completely f*cked up. Babysitter already convicted of child abuse & had her own son "go missing". And the parents of this baby are potheads who've had child services come out when she was just 2 weeks old.

I certainly hope child services didn't return the baby to the parents. I don't care if the father wasn't involved--this kid's never going to have a chance in that environment.

I went from being completely sympathetic to the mother and father at the beginning (I would be a wreck after 5 days), to going "What the fark? Who did what to whom? And why? And does this poor kid have a distant relative somewhere ELSE that could take better care of her?"
