(Washington Post) Dumbass
"Presumably, [Michael Steele] meant that his party is ascendent, meaning rising, and not transcendent, meaning beyond the limits of comprehension."

You gotta admit, at least the GOP is entertaining. In the era of American Idol and such other reality nonsense shows that poll America for a vote on who's best, maybe voters will think that elections are reality shows, and the funniest, most entertaining lot should win.

I think he meant transcendent. The libs just can't comprehend their crippling losses lat night. It's going to be glorious in 2010 when the rug just comes flying out from underneath them. America will get their revenge, and the Dems will finally realize that we don't want a socialist agenda throbbing with overt Marxism rammed down our throats.

I have to admit that I really don't comprehend what the GOP is trying to do right now. Maybe Michael Steele could explain it on his million dollar blog.

I heard that as "effervescent".

Every time I hear a Republican open his or her mouth, I feel like taking some Alka-Seltzer.
