Bulls looked awful. 29 points in the first HALF?! They won't win too much this year if they keep shooting 40% from the field and 22% from behind the line. Looks like they are missing BG more than I thought.

An 18 point 3rd quarter lead isn't exactly what I'd call "insurmountable" in the NBA, subby. Hell, it would be barely considered insurmountable in the NFL.

The Bucks are a very good professional basketball team. Not many ballclubs can match the two-headed monster of Alcindor and Robertson.

This is why I advocate moving them to Seattle, that and the fact that Bogut and Lauren Jackson in the same city might bring more NBA marketing and money from Australia. Which reminds me, if Key Arena was such a dump, how has the Bradley Center escaped any scrutiny? Kohl stopped caring a while ago it seems. I, for one, am simply amazed that such a deep Bucks team with such an awesome amount of firepower in their starting lineup could lose in this way. Why does that remind me of a typical Raptors game?

I am loving watching my Rockets this season. No MeMac and though I admit Yao is an outstanding player, he doesn't fit the team they have. The team they are playing with is surely outgunned by some teams, but there is not a team out there more fun to watch, especially with Trevor Ariza added to the mix. The guys they have play hard and it's great team basketball. Who else could be 3-1 with a starting center that's only 6'-6". I wish they still had Von Wafer. He was wildly inconsistent and took terrible shots, but when he was on he was fun to watch.

I don't think the Bulls miss Ben Gordan that much. John Salmons basically fills the void of hoisting up bad shots in traffic. While the downside is Salmons can't get those horrible shots to fall as often as BG, he makes up for it by being a bigger, better defender.

Tyrus should be gone. He's the basketball equivalent of a million dollar arm and a ten-cent brain. He may be able to salvage something of a career with a patient teaching coach who can keep him on the bench until he harnesses his athletic talents into something resembling basketball skills. I don't think Vinny can teach big-man skills.

My biggest hope is squeaking in to the playoffs, but I fear they won't get there.

The Bucks are still a mess, but Jennings looks very, very good so far. He's a keeper, although I'm sure he'll run screaming out of town as soon as the opportunity rises.

BTW, anybody still think the Celtics are old and slow? Anyone?

I have a real problem with certain noises. I've never been bothered by the shoe squeaking but the sound of typing, especailly in tv commercials, drives me crazy. To the point where I'll mute the tv during the commercial or flip the channel. I'll watch the Celts tonight and see if the squeaking becomes problematic for me.
