(Some soda drinker) Interesting
Meet the owner of the world's largest non-alcoholic carbonated beverage store: His passion about supporting the little man in the face of large corporate pressure in the marketplace is refreshing. Like a nice cold bottle of soda. Or pop

Soda-pop.

Soda-pop.

SODA-POP.

I'm suggesting this in the interests of peace, people.

If you don't WANT peace... quite frankly, I don't know what to tell you.

Maybe Arnold WAS right in Terminator 2 when he said that it's in human nature for humans to destroy themselves.

...

... but then again, he didn't have a frosty can of soda-pop.

Toshiro Mifune's Letter Opener: Maybe Arnold WAS right in Terminator 2 when he said that it's in human nature for humans to destroy themselves.

Actually, I think he said it best in Total Recall when he said "ARARGGUGHGGUARGGHUGHAAH!" It was very poignant, and let us completely put to bed the argument over what to call soft drinks.

The only soft drink I go out of my way to look for is Kinley and they don't have it. I even called up Coca-Cola and they told me it wasn't available in this country.

Makes sense that the world's best mixer/hangover cure would only be available in Israel.

Back when I was a kid, the barber shop we went to had one of these types of vending machines:

i36.tinypic.com

I used to always get a Frostie root beer or Dr Pepper out of it. I think they were 30 cents per bottle.

Good find, Subby. My only complaint is that the video was too short.

I shop at this joint when I can. The owner is almost always in the store, and always willing to lend his opinions on the merchandise.

Place has everything you could want, and a few that you probably wouldn't want (coffee soda anyone?)

Nice to know that if I find myself in LA, I can still get a Moxie. And checking his website, I see he also carries the cane sugar Dr Pepper.

CruiserTwelve: /sorry.

Yeah...that's not the actual machine from my old barber shop in that photo. Otherwise, you'd see a bunch of old dark tan naugahyde chairs with metal legs all bolted to one another, stuffed deer heads on the walls and stacks of hunting magazines the end tables.
