It's funny. When I read 'warning' i thought it was because the whale was attacking boats or something. Now I understand they don't want anybody to kill it. Perhaps someone should let the whale know that he's swimming with savages.

Saw that whale once, and probably closer to 100 yards from it. I was on the way back from an overnight dive on the Reef and the other boat belonging to the dive company I went with radio'd our boat to come over and see. He was with two regular coloured whales. They circled the boat, then came toward us. The water was turquoise wherever he went... probably the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.
