Better headline FTFA: "A hostess accused him of following her around the restaurant with a vibrating sex toy in his pocket, buzzing his genitals and singing to himself."

"Gydosh complained immediately to an assistant manager, who was present when Mendoza made the comment. The (assistant manager) failed to take any action to assist her," the complaint states.

Well, he was probably serving as the manager's fluffer at the time. How much can one man do?

"All she needs is a good (expletive) up her (expletive), and I'd be good for that," Mendoza replied

This would make a halfway decent Madlib.

Sounds like Mendoza knows how to party, but not when to party.

A common mistake.

Michelle Gydosh, $101,000

Melissa Johnson, $32,000

Rosemary Singer, $57,000

Dawn Kovacs, $60,000

Nicole Wallace, $5,000

Something tells me Nicole sued because she WASN'T sexually harassed.

StrikitRich 2009-11-03 08:55:29 AM
Ruby Tuesdays? Was he turned on by excessive flair?

Oldiron_79 2009-11-03 08:56:57 AM
Hmm, if you offered to make a pron with your employee, it could be argued that its a business offer and not sexual harassment. At least if you have a good enough lawyer. Ladies and gentlemen of the supposed jury.

You know, it can take months to earn $100K filming porn. Average week of shooting will usually only get you about $10,000. I'd say she was a savvy businesswoman for making that kind of money the easy way.

My stage name is Buck Nekkid and yours is Boobies McMouthful. The scene is I'm an irate customer who is angry about my Tuesday's Italian Platter. While I argue with you about the meal, you are obviously interested in my package. You can't take your eyes off of it. Finally, I throw some spaghetti in your face to get your attention. You just rub it all over and moan a lot. I then yell "I demand customer satisfaction!" and whip it out. You say "The customer is always right" and we queue the music. Then it's knees, over the table, in the chair, knees, floor, knees, on the desk with the finale me in the chair, you hanging from the lamp by your ankles.

Lawsuits like this are the reason I only harass women AFTER they're duct-taped in my basement.

Our society is SO farked in the head.

I fully agree with no-touchy, or with making sex a requirement for employment/promotion. But part of the complaint from the article is that her boss said she looked "hot". Oh, the horror.

It's reached a point where me saying "I hate that guy, I could kill him if he bugs me again" is less of an issue than me telling a girl "You look pretty today".

Also see movies, where ten people getting violently killed is less of a ratings issue than a single shot of a boob.

Women. They get paid when they give it up. They get paid when they don't.

Mendoza has faced sexual discrimination claims before. In 1999, he was manager of a Denny's restaurant in Allentown. A hostess accused him of following her around the restaurant with a vibrating sex toy in his pocket, buzzing his genitals and singing to himself.

Now why didn't he put this on his resume?

Denny's restaurant, Allentown 1999. Buzzed up performance of the entire wait staff by offering incentives and offering close peer on peer opportunities. Upper management relied on my close observation of employees and my hands on management of their assets. Was cited several times for my close supervision on waitresses.

Yeah, I think there is a bit of an issue with our society as far as what's OK and what's not OK... but, this guy definitely went too far.

Ruby Tuesday's should learn to screen their applicants ALOT better if they missed this one..

I can see how he was carrying on to be personally offensive, especially when he was turned down continuously; that would step it up to harassment. Also, the ones where he treats women more as sexual objects than potential sexual partners. I don't see any problem with making suggestive comments to a coworker, at least once to see if they're interested. They might be lewd, but at worst, you go "ick", he leaves you alone from there on out, and there's no issue. If they keep it up, that's harassment, regardless of whether it's sexual or not.
