(My Fox DC) Sad
The story of Romeo and Juliet just doesn't have that same emotional pull when the setting is changed from the courtyards of Verona to a rancher in Virginia

To be fair, just driving anywhere near Triangle is enough to make most people contemplate suicide.

I'm betting murder-suicide until I get more info.

Sad indeed. I thought about doing the same thing when I was their age. Life gets so so so much better after high school. It really does. I can't tell you how many nerds from my high school are making $70K salaries today, or how many formerly ugly, overlooked girls are now getting hounded by hot guys every time they leave the house.

What an awesome life I would have missed out on, and I'm still only 27.

BTW, yes, $70K is basically six figures in western NY.

I thought at first it was the Triangle Home because of the shape of the front.

My woman taught there as her first job.

A more horrible group of parents that do not give a shiat she has not experienced.

one gun means they had to take turns. yikes. i wonder who went first. I'm guessing she did, but he pulled the trigger. Girls are far too vain for gunshot wounds to the head.

live fast, die young and leave a good looking corpse?

not so much with a hole in your face.

TFA: According to investigators, police were called to a home on Oakdale Circle just after 5 p.m. Monday to investigate the deaths of an 18-year-old man and a 17-year-old girl

Nice to see Fox Nutwork never misses a chance to exploit the pedophilia angle.

18 = Adult
17 = Minor

That's called "factual" not "pedophilia"

Nice try though... you at least got one bite. Best of luck to you!

To laws and lawyers, the two might as well be synonyms. They could've used any number of terms such as "two young people" but of course we gotta work that legalese bit that implies some illegal nooky was goin' on.

/ "Denotation" vs. "connotation", I stayed awake during English class
// I also work with salespeople for a living

Did anyone else ever see the movie Surviving back in the '80s? It was about two teenagers whose parents wouldn't let them see one another so they committed suicide together. The movie went on to show the aftermath and how the event affected both families.

That movie completely screwed with my head as a 13-year old.

Isn't nooky what parents put in a baby's mouth to keep it quiet?

You mean like this: "TRIANGLE, Va. - Prince William County Police say the bodies of two teens were found inside a home in Triangle, Virginia on Monday evening."

Quit trying to be a sensaltionalist... Fox News certainly isn't (at least not in this instance).

^ what you typed.

How it reads:

To derps and derpers, the derps derp as derp be derrrrrpy. Derp derp derp any derps of derps such as "derp derp derple" but of derp we derpa derp that derpes the derp derp derp derrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrp derpin' derp.

Your post contains no facts, just words strung together by someone who wishes to appear in possession of facts. The energy you spent posting it would better have been spent looking up the facts that would prove your post a waste. About two seconds and the search engine of your choice would have enlightened you to the fact that while Virginia AOC is 18, there is an close-in-age exemption that makes any relationship between these two completely legal.

Not to mention the fact that FOX affiliates and the cable channel have fairly independent news gathering, so any attempt to connect these local reporters and Glenn Beck is simply DERRRRRRRRRRRPPPP... Sorry...I drifted off there.

You get the picture.

From the Comments: Christine Tompkins
I knew both these kids before a graduated from FPHS, This comes to me in total shock and I am deeply saddened that two of my freind's live's have been cut down soo short.

Maybe they couldn't deal with the poor grammar and spelling skills that FPHS imparted upon them.

Rancher? I presume you mean the ranch style house. The only ranch near Triangle, Va. is Marine Corps Base Quantico. Triangle recently had its entire Main Street (Rt. 1) frontage obliterated in the name of road widening.

There's a town named Verona in Virginia. I used to drive past it on 81 on my way to and fro
school. I think it's near Staunton (pronounced staaaanton).
