Um, I once chatted with one of the guys in Huun Huur Tu (a big-time throat singing group from Mongolia). When he wasn't doing the traditional folky throat-singing stuff with Huun Huur Tu, he played lead guitar in a hard rock band.

/say what you will, but Huun Huur Tu was a great evening of music. Haters.
