If the jellyfish are delicious, this situation can be resolved quickly.

*heads to his supply shed*

We've got...

-barrels of drawn butter
-horseradish sauce cannons
-lemon wedge boomerangs
-freshly-ground pepper shaker nunchukus
-bandoleers of red onions
-thyme bazookas

*gets a flamethrower and sets it to Sauté*

LET'S ROCK.

Relatively little is known about Nomura's jellyfish

We must study this creature, learn the ways of our enemy, then, when the time is right, fark it. Fark it right into submission. Establish dominance through pure will of penis.

Only Shinji, the cabin boy. Those jerryfish violated every hole God drilled in his slender frame.

Then the crew gathered around and pissed on him.

You know, to neutralize the poison.

Experts believe that one contributing factor to the jellyfish becoming more frequent visitors to Japanese waters may be a decline in the number of predators, which include sea turtles and certain species of fish.

Ya Think??!!

Over 6 BILLION people on the Earth today and the population is still growing daily. (The US certainly has enough baby factories in nearly 24/7 production these days.) While everyone is yammering about 'organic' and 'natural' foods, they tend to forget that the 'commercial produce' was created because farmers couldn't feed the growing population fast enough.

I love this 'buy your produce within 100 miles' new thing now. One reason we import a lot and ship stuff from State to State is because we LIKE eating apples in Florida and folks in Maine enjoy Oranges, plus, we have fruits and seasonal vegetables all year long now. As a kid, when things were out of season we did without them or, if small hot houses grew and shipped, we paid a lot for just a little.

The entire fishing industry has changed. Thanks to enterprising folks, darn near every piece and scrap of fish harvested from the sea is now used -- creating a demand for more.

(Some moron discovered that sardines make great pig food. Plentiful and cheap. The oils left over from processing are used in a host of other markets. Now, there's an increasing shortage of Sardines.)

As they showed on 'Dirty Jobs', whole fish enter the processing plant and NOTHING is thrown away. Stuff humans can't eat is processed into fertilizers and cattle foods. Even the inedible parts of a crab are processed into supplements, additives and, naturally, fertilizer.

Consumption at that rate and efficiency means we're harvesting too much -- and now we have shortages in the ocean, which, scientists in the 60s boasted could feed the entire world nearly forever.

Forever seems kinda short after all.

China is about to give up on it's birth control mandates -- having discovered what everyone else knew a few decades earlier; female fetuses are valued less than male over there, so those get aborted in the highest number. In time, you have a male heavy population with not enough women and that tends to cause problems.

The US birth control worked mainly with the smart, industrious and well off. As they cut back on having intelligent, progressive kids, the lower class invented 'baby daddies' and started churning kids out as if on a deadline.

Most third word nations didn't even try birth control, but then, many of them liked to slaughter each other off in large groups, but, as time has gone by, about 4 dozen Human Rights Groups have managed to persuade them to cut back on this entertainment. So, their kids now have more of a chance to grow up, breed, and be stupid before getting killed in a Tribal or Religious war.

The population of my own city has exploded since the 60s. We now have about 5 times the folks living here and, naturally, there are fish shortages in the local river, prime grove lands have been sold to plant housing developments and we're pumping an enormous amount of pollution into the sea.

(Sigh) Even with our explosive technological advances, no one has found a cure for stupid.

I believe the problem is that the fish have become smarter. They're hiding in the caves and such. That's why we need to "drill, baby, drill" our way into those caves and reap the rewards that God wants us to find.

Probably, it was a random Google result. A jellyfish that big wouldn't be completely unrealistic, though. It'd be good food for the (even bigger) squid and octopus.
