I hope they do more of these.

pureobscure 2009-11-02 12:03:04 PM
Hmmm, B-52 trifecta in play?

GoNDSioux 2009-11-02 12:04:19 PM
Thanks, subby (And Conan), for my daily dosage of Awesome.

MANGAAAAAAAAAOOOOAAOOAAAAAA...you're on my foot...

That guy from the office they visited has the grossest patchy sideburns I've ever seen.

Sorry, foreigners, it's Hulu.

PadreScout 2009-11-02 12:30:29 PM
Ok, that was amazing.

Anyone else wanna join me on a stupid online petition to make Andy and Conan redub ghost in the shell?

Blackbird [TotalFark] 2009-11-02 12:39:45 PM
Andy voiced one of the cats in the Cat Returns.

icebergcomics 2009-11-02 12:49:20 PM
that was awesome - they actually do very good voicework, somebody should sign them up to some better gigs.

CtrlAltDelete [TotalFark] 2009-11-02 01:12:29 PM
Conan and Andy belong together dammit.

unchellmatt 2009-11-02 01:12:59 PM
But did they get the Egg Salad recipe?!?

Signed, with great enthusiasm!
I'm stunned by how much I enjoyed that.

Also by Andy's creamy thighs... mmmmmm...

M Bison 2009-11-02 02:20:25 PM
Conan actually did a pretty good job voicing Arimaki in the one scene.

LeroyB 2009-11-02 02:30:22 PM
Yes, that was "teh funny".

// It's great that Andy is back with Conan

CVGScorch 2009-11-02 02:33:33 PM
And this is why Conan will always be funnier than Jay Leno, or Jimmy Kimmel, or any other late night show hosts.

ArthGuinness 2009-11-02 03:01:03 PM
Even *they* can't make anime interesting. Or well animated.

Headso 2009-11-02 03:15:07 PM
from the comments it appears that I didn't hang in there long enough...

The pumpkin smash from last Friday is more Fark worthy.

Thats what I was thinking.

So you watched a video labeled 'dub anime' but you didn't get to the part where they dub anime. Good looking out!

Kipple [TotalFark] 2009-11-02 04:15:00 PM
How old is this clip? Or are they dubbing an old movie for some reason?

/oh, snap. Just admitted I'm an amine fan.

PacManDreaming [TotalFark] 2009-11-02 04:15:32 PM

Dammit, I completely missed your comment.

JeffMD 2009-11-02 04:16:45 PM
as a big fan of anime, I was in tears laughing at this. My question si why are they dubbing such an old film?

Slam Dunkz 2009-11-02 04:22:27 PM
JeffMD: as a big fan of anime, I was in tears laughing at this. My question si why are they dubbing such an old film?

Because as a non-anime fan it's one of the few ones I've actually heard the name of. It's the Tonight Show, not DragonCon.

JeffMD 2009-11-02 05:13:57 PM
Slam, no, they made it sound like ghost in the shell (movie, first one) was a current project at the studio. It has been dubbed ages ago.

A more appropriate joke for that would be, instead of Dragon*Con, you said Anime Weekend Atlanta.

I was wondering the same thing, but I didn't want to admit that... OH SNAP!

//Seriously, GITS is at least ten years old, probably more.

MrCab [TotalFark] 2009-11-02 10:05:59 PM
Hah, that was awesome. Who cares if it's old, people have heard of it and it's the tonight show. They can move on to the new stuff later.

They need to do a Dragon Ball scene, and Conan needs to say ITS OVER NINE THOUSAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND!!!

Just to make us all feel old: it came out in 1995, seven years after Akira.

Don't worry, I got the reference.

I'd call you a sadistic, hippophilic necrophile, but that would be beating a dead horse.

That was great... "I have a wallet" LOL!

/They need to do GITS-SAC episodes...

Tachikoma [TotalFark] 2009-11-03 02:23:02 AM
Am I the only one who wanted to slap the guy giving the explanation for the plot of Ghost in the Shell in the beginning? Seriously, the movie is nearly twenty years old now, and it's considered a staple movie in science fiction, not just by anime nerds. You could at least have seen it once before trying to give a summary about it.

I think they had him do that to set up the think of short skirts and boobies while somebody is talking bit

The anime guys probably just decided to break out an old one to let Conan and Andy have some fun...I'd imagine if they tried to have them dub an anime they're working on now, their clients probably wouldn't be too happy.
