Colts have won their last 16 regular season games. Just like the last team to do this, they don't have a Super Bowl trophy to show for it either

5 more and they tie the Pats.

Meh. This is the Colts MO. Every year they streak to a long unbeaten record. I'd much prefer they win the Superbowl than break more records. So would they, I'd bet.

*takes bong hit*

My 5-3 Texans go into Indy this week. If we can escape with a win, then we take care of the Titans Monday night after the bye week, we would be 7-3. Then the Colts come to town. Would the 8-1 (or 9-1) Colts at the 7-3 Texans get our game moved to the flex spot, supplanting Pit at Bal?

*takes another rip from the bong*

This is a very losable game for the Colts...looking ahead to the Pats the next week, and facing a very capable Houston team....which the Colts might take for granted considering their record against them...you could win this one.

Good for Indy's rookie coach going 7-0 so far. Of course that's because he's got the smartest quarterback in the game. The Colts offense doesn't really need help from the sidelines.

Or the fact that the Colts haven't played anyone yet.

The Texans have a pretty good chance of taking at least one of them. Watching the game, they showed a graph of Houston's pass and rush defense over the season. After the first 3 or 4 games, their defense really got much better.

/Colts are good, but I'd love to see the Texans take one up there.

16-0 only counts when you do it in one season. Still impressive, but here the Colts had a nice bye week known as the off season to reload, get healthy, get new talent, coach said talent and so on and so forth. When you can winubianmes in 17 weeks that's a real record. 16 games over two seasons is the sign of a good team, but not mind blowing.

The Colts looked very beatable against a rather mediocre 49ers team this week. I don't think those are the bong hits talking. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Texans give them all they can handle this week.

I wouldn't call the 9ers and Dolphins exactly pushover teams.

Fun fact that might amuse only me: they had to get their first one replaced because Carroll Rosenbloom took it with him to LA when he traded ownership of the Colts for the Rams.

Win sixteen games. Winubianmes.

THIS.
This was the second time this year that the niners had a chance to come out and prove something to the rest of the NFL. just the fact that manning never even got a touchdown says something, but it seems meaningless when you still get the L

I doubt Peyton Manning called the halfback pass that scored their only touchdown.

Also, any offense that relies exclusively on one person is prone to a let down at the wrong time. They need more guidance from the sideline now that Peyton Manning is nearly unstoppable, than they did when he was simply great. Otherwise, he won't recognize when he's not going to be able to do it alone.

Yes, the Niners showed the by faking injuries (to stop Mannings no huddle offense) and getting the Colts on an off day they could almost win.

Offense: Payton Manning
Defense: Allowing the least points in the ENTIRE LEAGUE.

/Colts are looking insanely good.
//On the other hand, they'll clinch early and every year they clinch early they don't play anyone for 3 or 4 weeks and lose the first round.

16-0 even in one season doesn't matter if you can't finish the job at the Superbowl. Just didn't want to think you were implying that.

I'm a Colts fan, and for the last couple years, the Texans have been the division opponent that has made me the most nervous. However, I don't dislike the Texans, and I would love to see them get a wildcard spot.

/as long as they beat other teams to earn it
