If vaginal blood wart Michelle Malkin says so, it's good enough for me. Because vaginal blood wart Michelle Malkin knows her lefties. Vaginal blood wart Michelle Malkin has been fair, well-reasoned, and consistent in her criticisms. Ignore vaginal blood wart Michelle Malkin at your risk.

Republicans supported her, to split the non Republican votes, thus win. Seems to me they shot themselves in the foot with that one, serves them right.

Reading the comments at that site amaze's me.

Half are about how it's good riddance to get rid of another Rino and the other half are about how the evil Mainstream media is playing this out on how it shows that the current republican party doesn't support moderates anymore.

Can they not read what they themselves are saying? What's even more scary is how they keep referring to democrats and rino's has the 'enemy'. Not opponent, not opposition, but enemy.

That seat hasn't gone to a democrat since 1880, so I doubt it.

However, Obama carried that district and now his candidates are failing everywhere there are elections. Perhaps the Obama revolution is over.

I do love the self-purification that the GOP is undertaking, with pundits and demagogues cheerleading as loudly as they possibly can.

Nothing like a lack of foresight and complete abandonment of history to make this kind of thing in the present seem so very amusing. Since it's the people I largely have come to disagree with mind you. It'd be a catastrophe in the making if I actually identified with these putzes.

They aren't far off. Malkin isn't even a politician. Do the Democrats want their party defined by say, Jeremiah Wright? Well, they might, if Van Jones is the alternative.

You'll notice they only want to focus on non-politicians in order to shift the focus from political ideology to personalities. Limbaugh, Beck, et al, are not politicians. They do not create policy nor do they have much, if any, influence on the party with supreme power at the moment.

I warned these dumb farks a year ago that they'd fail quickly without a scape goat to point at. It's hard to make a case that Republicans are obstructing when they need zero Republicans to pass law. So instead of being truthful, they continually howl about private citizens and hope the American public is too stupid or inept to see what the REAL obstruction is. My guess is the plan is falling through the cracks (to see how the major races for the year are shaping up) and that's why you see the politics thread looking like this:

-One mention of Dick Cheney (no longer in power)
-One mention of Alberto Gonzales (gone for like... ever)
-One mention of the non-politician Michelle Malkin (guilt by association for the GOP)
-Two mentions of Republicans being evil/inept

We did get one questionable wealth re-distribution headline, though it is certainly not critical of the sitting government and was more in line with the snark we expect.

Completely agree. It's exactly why these hard-line Democrats signed their own death warrant when they ran their only excuse into the ground. Those two parties cannot exist without each other, because they cannot accept responsibility and must have someone else to point at when the American people want accountability.

I really hope this is the end of the two party system we have. It starts with a man like Hoffman (regardless of whether we can agree with him politically) who doesn't need or want support from national party leadership with their own agenda. As the Democrats flail to find opponents to blame, disaffected moderate used-to-be Republicans (like myself), and moderate Democrats tired of that hijacked party will seek out third party candidates that align better with our values.

They are the definition of a private citizen. Being part of the media is not analogous to being part of government, regardless of what you've seen in other leftist countries like Venezuela.

"They" being the Farkers who thought the end of the Republican Party meant uncontested power for the Democrats for here on out.

it's pretty monolithic: hatred of obama + hatred of taxes + hatred of foreigners + fanatical devotion to right-wing talking heads + gullibility + persistent paranoia = teabag movement.

I am proud to say that I was one of the Republican "voices" calling her a RINO and a witch. The best thing you can do for your country right now is troll the GOP into the ground, let them figure out later why all of the crazies driving their strategies don't actually show up to the polls.

If you believe that this country isn't generally right of center, you clearly believe in "flyover country". I guess the San Francisco mayor found this out when he ventured outside of his liberal bubble, since he dropped from California's gubernatorial race.

It's true that people are becoming more socially liberal, particularly about things like medical marijuana and gay rights. That's not a bad thing. However, they are fiscally conservative and most Americans are still big into capitalism, the free market, and the idea you shape your own destiny while minimizing government interference.

In other words; Americans are going to join the Libertarian Party! Okay, maybe not, but I can hope.
