Don't worry, tea partiers, I'm sure it'll work out. After all, Cynthia was the tea partier and won $100,000.

I actually did not see that coming.

I'm waiting for the long line of Dems to come here and start praising her for her decision, even though she's a nasty awful whargarbling Republican.

Like by virtue of supporting their team, all of her past 'crimes' are absolved.

tallguywithglasseson: I actually did not see that coming.

When prominent Republicans (Tim Pawlenty, Palin, among others) come out and endorse her "independent" teabagger candidate, what would you expect?

The Nazi assent in Germany was not a victory for the Communists -- quite the opposite. A far right win in New York state is not a victory for Greens.

It's a big 'fark you' to Gingrich back-tracking on his support.

I'm glad that the swinging of the Republican party for the last 30 years to the crazy side is finally having some consequences.

You either know she's very moderate and was recruited to be a candidate by the Dems not too long ago and have chosen to ignore the fact, or you didn't and are talking out of your asshole. Please tell us which.

Makes sense. Her stances were far more in line with the democrats than republicans. This is probably for the best for her anyway. She would've been one of the very few sane republicans in congress. The crazy probably would've rubbed off on her.

She's bitter her party ditched her.

Rightly so? Perhaps.

Thats only true assuming this guy is going to be able to accomplish something. If not, it could be a small boon to the greens.

/and those assholes in the Constitution party...

If she was a "whargarbling Republican" then the party would never have stabbed her in the back and campaigned against her.

Pray tell, who do you find "crazy" and who do you find "sane" in Nancy Pelosi's Congress?

WTF? I thought Republican women were all supposed to be drop dead gorgeous because the Invisible Hand put midichlorians in their bajingoes or some shiat or other.

Or is that why they're so anxious to go for Hoffman?

30 years ago, the GOP sold it's soul to the Religious Right, for short-term political gain.

Now, the Devil has shown up to collect his due.

I think the best way we could determine the relative sanity of our Congresscritters is to have an investigation to find out which of them love America and which don't.

Most democrats = sane

John Boehner/Republicans = insane.

The line is really quite simple.

Some examples. Claiming a pamphlet is a budget. Having Michelle Bachmann as a member of your party. Hating democrats so much that you would vote for rape over a democrat sponsored ammendment (see senate republicans).

What, specifically, has Nancy Pelosi done to deserve all the hate? I honestly don't know.

I can't imagine why someone who had the party endorsement THEN has the party bigwigs come out and campagin against them would feel some sort of resentment.

And then ran a smear campaign against her. I'll vote republican when I feel the most important thing a candidate has to offer is creating and producing dishonest attack ads. Until then I'll vote anyone but republican.

Of topic, but WTF is that ad mean? And are the ad people at McDonalds so out of touch with politics that they don't know that people might take that as an endorsement of the Tea Party movement?
