(Fark) A foreigner comes up to you and says "I've never seen an American movie. What movie should I watch which will tell me most about Americans and the kinds of movies they love?" What do you respond? (voting enabled)
Moderator:DamnYankees: Haha holy shiat - this is green? I literally just submitted this out of boredom and b/c I'm watching Raiders.
Admin's not drunk (yet), either. Just looked like fun, why not.
I love it. It's just rare to have TF thread greened, and I think this is my first. Thankfully I'm not the guy who got caught in the chair. Cheers to you, sir!
It depends..movies from different times obviously represent the times in which they're set so ya know..do they want to see Americans of the 80s? or now?
I do find Americans certainly seem to love horror/gore for whatever reason. I dig 'em but more for the suspense they can have.

Why would you recommend a movie that, I believe, 0 American characters in it and isn't even set in America?

Is that the title of the next movie?

woodstock: Not one single movie does that.
A combination of these two
This would be a really silly question to ask. I suspect submitter just wants a 'hurr Americans are fat and stupid' thread or something.

Did I mess up the title? I think that's right.
