I really don't get Slipknot.

I mean, fine you want angry music....ok cool....but then you want you band members dressed like retarded clowns?

Check out Stone Sour, his main band. Light years above Slipknot, and he can actually sing.

Yeah, because having a stage act and attempting to entertain your fans in a style befitting your music is the most retarded idea ever. Plus, nobody, and I mean not one other band, would ever do anything like that anyway.

Only because of your idiotic comment. I give everyone else the benefit of te doubt. Not liking a band based solely on how they look is akin to liking a band based solely on their image. That would be lame, right?

Yeah, the first time I heard "Zzyzx Rd." my reaction was something like "Holy crap, that's the same guy that does all of the screaming for Slipknot?" Dude's got range.

Stone Sour's latest album is total crap compared to the one before it. That album is just rock solid from first to last track. I am not a huge slipknot fan but Cory does an amazing job in Stone Sour and I think that first album from them was an excellent cd. If you need work out music or hard core driving like a bat out of hell type stuff pick it up asap you won't regret it.

He's got a darn good voice...in Stone Sour he actually sings, and heck, even the latest Slipknot sounds more 'musical' than 'noisy'.

See i don't mind of you have a stage persona, but mix it up a little. I look at Slipknot and I think screamy/hard rock/heavy metal. Now if they were a jazz quintet, that would be interesting.

They were 19th century business suits, Slipknot were 23rd century business suits. I don't see big difference
