(Rolling Stone) Roger Daltrey discusses 'The Who: Rock Band." Game is said to have three drummer settings: 'Mind-Boggingly Tricky,' 'Near Impossible' and 'Choking On its Own Vomit'
The Beatles:RB sucked anyway. The jump from medium to hard is like the jump from hard to impossible on all the other rhythmic games. So you go from playing OK to very good on the "medium setting" and then you jump to hard and it's like an insane person has taken over.
Except for the drums. Anyone needing ammo to support the position that Starr was a shiatty drummer need only compare the drumlines from TB:RB to any other RB title. Christ, a retarded monkey can play the drumlines on TB:RB.

You're saying that drum parts in a video game are an accurate representation of any given drummer's real life skills?
Yeeesh, in this case, I will suggest you put down the toy controller and try Ringo's parts from Rain on a real kit, then get back to us.

No one who knew what they were talking about would call Ringo a shiatty drummer, and anyone who would use a video game as "ammo" to make such a dubious claim would quickly be dismissed by said knows-what-they're-talking-about people.
AmazinTim:I hate the guitar hero/rock band games, but I'll be damned if this doesn't tempt me.
Rock Band inspired my son to take guitar lessons (which he still takes) and made him a fan of The Who.
So for that alone, I can't muster up much hate for the game. Toss in the fact that it has given us many, many fun nights at parties or as a family, and I've got nothing but love for them.

Ah, I see you've never once so much as held a drum stick. Enjoy playing with your video games though.

/yes, plays real guitar, too
Different strokes for different folks I guess, kudos to your son for picking up the real instrument. Some kids think real guitar is for old people:
I had a fun night of drinking with friends and playing when it first came out, but after that it was just an annoyance. The roommate who used our living room TV to play Guitar Hero 8 hours a day probably put a sour taste in my mouth too.
I hope they put some of the better who tunes in hear, maybe a live show? I'd love to see Heaven and Hell but since it was never recorded in a studio I'm doubtful it will make it. /yes, plays real guitar too.. poorly

I suppose "passed out on tranquilizers during a show and replaced with a member of the audience" would be a bit wordy.

You know what it is? Its a portmanteau of Roger Moore and Timothy Dalton, but youre doing an RIP meme joke by switching the last names slightly.
