Could it be magic?

Barry, I don't care if you are gay or like to garden, but your magnetic bracelet is just stupid squared.

D_Evans45 2009-10-31 02:17:56 PM
Gardening relieves stress, I'd rather go take care of my babies than a majority of other activities. Also, your own produce is almost always better than the mass produced stuff you'll find at a grocery store, especially if you know what you're doing nute/plant care wise. Hell, we could have practically lived off our produce and chickens alone last year, not to mention the hog we slaughtered.

I don't even know who Barry Manilow is, but if he's an avid gardener, he earns points in my book.

D_Evans45: I don't even know who Barry Manilow is,

You might be too young to remember, but he wrote a *lot* of tv and radio commercial jingles for popular products.

McDonald's - "you deserve a break today"

Kentucky Fried Chicken - "Finger lickin' good"

State Farm Insurance - "Like a good neighbor, State Farm is there"

Dr. Pepper - "Wouldn't you like to be a pepper..."

etc...

You know what we should do? Go to a Manilow concert as a goof. Just to laugh at all the dumbass Manilow fans.

I honestly don't remember any of those besides "Have you had your break today," probably just too young.

Either way, good on ya for gardening Mr.Manilow, and may you produce even more mediocre commercial slogans in the future.

/Honestly mean that

His name is Barry
And he's a showman
But when he's stressed about the show
To his garden he will go
He prunes the bushes
And sprays the aphids
He's got some rubber boots to wear
And there's cow crap in his hair
He stands there so refined
And makes the hose unwind
He cuts the grass and he trims the hedges
And the
Cree!
Ping!
Vines!

Except he's actually extremely famous as a pop musician with fans whose devotion borders on obsession who has sold over 75 million records and once had 5 albums on the charts at the same time.

I can't stand the man's music, but not knowing who he is? God I hope you're trolling.

So being too young to recognize an ancient pop star is trolling?

I swear they should have closed Fark registration down after 2007. It's as if every retarded post I respond to is from some dumbass noob post-2007 who would've been laughed out of every thread back in the golden days of Fark. GTFO, lame.

SharkTrager 2009-10-31 09:37:21 PM
No, but being totally ignorant of one of the top selling recording artists in history is ridiculous regardless of age. Trolling would be a major improvement.

This is good news and will help save time. Now all the papers can add "Bizarre Gardening Accident" to the list of possible causes in Barry's standby obituary
